He did survive brain surgery at 95 and helped build houses shortly before looking like he had been in a boxing ring.

I am glad for non deadpooling reasons that it was a quiet month and also personally as I am super busy at the moment and if I had to submit a team for the next round it would have been uninspired and a poor list anyway.Plus I don`t have time to follow the game closely.
-
Congratulations to my first round opponent Wannamaker for a fine victory.

Prince Philip had a heart operation a few weeks before he died other than that yeah we dont know but he looked like death warmed up when he left so I think it is a fair assumption that he went home to die not because he was recovering.
-
Think it is more than advice as his manager said there was no hope and a further announcement would be made on Wednesday. Can only really conclude he is brain dead on a ventilator and the conversation is when not off to turn it off.
-
Prince Philip was not walking towards the end of his life (hence why he was closely shielded when being transfered from hospital into the car on his final journey from the hospital)and he never had a progressive disease as far as we know just heart problems, prostate problems and extreme old age. I wouldn`t class any of them as progressive.

I still don't think he has long but without knowing what he has got it is hard to tell.I think his niece was carefully dampening speculation by giving accurate but selective positive information ( I.e eating and communicating but not whether he is bedridden highly medicated or how often he is asleep now) to reassure us he is still awake and death isn't imminent. The speculation was rife around the world and I think the family who want some privacy said that to tone down the media frenzy and I think it has done the job.

His Facebook page states he has died as it is a memorial account and he is tagged in a R.I.P post dated 6th February.Last post he made was 14th January in hospital on oxygen and still struggling to breathe and his blood pressure crashed badly so yeah he has definitely gone between 14th January and 6th February.

Sad news indeed.Great speaker.Annoyed her left her off my DDP theme team this year (she was first reserve).
-
She is still touring regularly and incredibly people are paying to see her live.

I found out about him 3 weeks ago.I didn't post him on here as could find nothing noteworthy he has done.Yes he is a local musician but researching him just lead me to a brick wall regarding his career.Came across his case in the mirror yesterday of which the title mentions him as a Dad in the title confirming him to be famous for being ill imo.

If you go on his profile it says banned with his last post being dated January 27th.The lawsuit has been revealed on the GRG validations 2023 thread.
-
Robert Young banned from the 110 club.GRG also facing a lawsuit from longeviquest. All hotting up over there.
-
How do you do that?
-
Even when repeatedly proved wrong on this he never retracted or apologised.Even if the old tosser was correct which he wasn't that would still be a cruel mean spirited poisonous letter deliberately designed to inflict further suffering upon someone and a community of people who were going through utter hell.

He was an interesting and complicated figure. He was also a twat.

Really sorry to read this Paul.Thoughts are with you and your family.Losing a pet is always awful but especially at such a young age.

O'Connor is the first woman to sit on the Supreme Court so I would say is unquestionably notable enough. Feinstein as you say passes the fame criteria as she is a long term Senator and has been quite a presence in Washington. When she dies be it today or in 15 years she will get an obituary from all the national news sites in the UK and it will most likely be mentioned on all news bulletins of the day albeit later in the programme depending on the news on said day.
-
They picked Tim Johnson in 2007. Feinstein is far more notable.
-
Listen to 5 minutes of her "music".That will make you dislike her.
-
Yeah could be kidney failure or multi organ failure.Heart failure seems a possibility too.
-
Could be pancreatic cancer and wholly unrelated to his previous cancer as all his siblings and father died from it.

It varies. My great uncle was in hospice care with end stage lung cancer for 5 months. He wasn't anywhere near as old or frail as Carter was when he went into hospice though. In the last photos of Carter he looks very thin and frailand has likely lost weight since so he has gone onto hospice care with very little bodyweight to live off of which means he most likely won't last more than a matter of days. I wonder whether this final decline is simply due to extreme old age or whether he has been diagnosed with cancer again.

Very sad case.
