Saw Nick Robinson on the news of 10 and he sounded absolutely terrible much like the late Henry Cecil in terms of croakiness. Then again he has just undergone lung surgery so that isn`t too surprising and his cancer was said to be of the neuroendocrine variety much like Wilko Johnson`s which has a far better prognosis than many other forms of cancer. Certainly one to keep an eye on though.

I would say the odds look slim seeing as she has been dead a month and I only just heard.I shall have to keep my eyes open.Last time I pick anyone ambiguous.I kind of thought a gold medallist in the Olympics of her era would get some mention in the mail guardian or telegraph.

If I read that piece correctly ("Today is the day I have chosen to pass away with dignity in the face of my terminal illness, this terrible brain cancer that has taken so much from me - but would have taken so much more.") her death was a case of euthanasia/assisted suicide. Half a year ago she advised Brittany Maynard against such an end. I conclude that that woman subscribed to the moral school of "Do as I say, not as I do". Such hypocrisy isn't rare in Xians. Those were Maynard`s words not Tippetts -But these were "suffering is not the absence of goodness” what a load of sanctimonious bollocks to send someone with brain cancer:If I were Maynard I would have sent the letter back with dignitas tickets.

I do think Gazza is beyond help much like George Best.My uncle was the same he was told he would die if he didn`t stop but he never got rid of the bottle for more than a few weeks and died a couple of years later.I can`t see Gazza seeing 50.
