I think his friend P.J O`Rourke has a valid point! Put it this way if he was a regular dinner party guest of mine I would be yawning each time he mentions the "departure lounge". I suppose it makes a nice change from these overly optimistic celebrities (not naming names) who think they are indestructible despite being well and truly medically fucked.

It is a shame really ..I have been following this site since 2010 and he is one of the only names now to have constantly remained on the list since then! Still it shows the good behind this site as without it I would probably still not know who he was!He was a lucky old bugger he had it both ways ..lived to a ripe old age while still alert and doing what he loved .It doesn`t get much better than that.If we wish to replace him with another centenarian , Journalist and Author from a by-gone era may I suggest Clare Hollingworth (b.1911)who was the first war correspondent to report on the outbreak of WW2?I know she is pretty much unknown but so was Mr Pincher and that distinction alone would give her a wide range of British obituaries for reasons beside her age and likely demise.

What I took from this is that he can`t actually do anything for himself -So they are keeping his cause going by constantly mentioning what he is supposedly praying for and replying to letters on his behalf (despite him being nearly deaf blind most probably senile and ridden with Parkinson`s disease)as can be seen on his website!Sounds a bit exploitative if you ask me ..then again this is Evangelism we are talking about!

I thought he did -his voice was hoarse and weak, he was incredibly thin and looked very tired!He was in good spirits but judging by that and the fact he has exceeded his initial prognosis four times over and has cancer in three vital organs leads me to believe he won`t see 2014 out !

He is just like herpes you think he is gone and then bam he`s back!(not that I speak from experience of course!)
