I think yesterday was the day the threat became real for Johnson and not even because of Party Gate wholly. Following the Owen Patterson scandal it appears many MP`s had a case of deja vu. It beggars belief anyone can honestly say he did not mislead the house knowingly. He said the rules were followed at all times when he himself broke the rules and has admitted he did by accepting his fine. There is so much evidence on camera of him explaining the rules which he claims he is too stupid to have understood or remembered. The fact though that the whips knew they couldn`t get a majority to stop the Parliamentary enquiry is what is telling though. They knew they had lost control of events which is bad enough but when the events you have lost control of regard whether the Prime Minister should be investigated for what amounts to a resignation matter then it becomes hard not to see it as an implicit vote of no confidence. Clearly they don`t want to defend him and do not believe him. I agree Hunt is the most likely candidate to take over as PM. I definitely think it wont be someone in the cabinet as they have clung on for so long they will go down with the ship at this point. I do think other former Ministers can`t be counted out such as Mark Harper and Tobias Ellwood. Wouldn`t surprise me if Sir Graham Brady resigned a chairman of the 1922 committee ran for leader and won as a unity candidate. Truss and Raab will definitely go for the leadership but they will fall flat on their faces and mess up their campaigns spectacularly and swiftly.

Watched the documentary.Bill appears to be doing brilliantly for 90.Still exercises regularly and even physically recreated getting punched by Mike Baldwin in the Rovers throwing himself back on the table.Possibly the most mentally and physically sharp 90 year old I have seen. Barbara Knox contributed and looks and sounds fairly frail now.

Well she can weight bear and stand up straight which is good for 96.

Thanks for the mini Ted talk.Very informative ( not being sarcastic by the way).I was unaware the pro_tempore had to be elected by the Senate in which case Feinstein will almost certainly lose as 4 Democratic Senators have anonymously said she isnt fit to be a Senator anymore let alone pro_temp . How quickly can a VP be appointed?I know the last 2 occasions the VP became President it took months. I also wouldn't be surprised if Republicans take the House in 2022 and possibly even the Senate.

It isn't alt right it is merely a distinct possibility.Say Biden resigns or dies and Kamala takes over and is assassinated before a VP is appointed then Pelosi takes over and falls ill or dies then it has happened. My point was it isn't a hypothetical just a long shot but one that is within the realms of possibility which is scary.If the unlikely scenario we're to occur though I am sure people would step in and stop her taking office.It is clear senior Democrats are really pushing for her to Resign even now so if she were to become President those calls would be overwhelming to the point of being untenable.

Or if Biden passed away Kamala took over had a huge scandal and resigned and Pelosi took over then died in the next 2_3 years Feinstein could become president. It is unlikely but not impossible at all.Biden and Pelosi are relatively old and Kamala doesn't seem like the scandal free sort of President if she gets it.Of course assassination or illness could be a factor in all 3 cases even Kamala at 57.Wouldnt take death for someone to have to resign through illness.

It isn't symbolic as it could happen however unlikely.For Biden Harris and Pelosi to all pass away or have to resign between 2023 and 2025 is not likely but not implausible.

I would say both Biden and Pelosi have good and bad days and are showing signs of cognitive decline especially Biden.He spoke so much better just a few years ago.

If this it predictor I want you to watch one of my favourite songs. Was incidentally my Grandads favourite song and was his final song before his coffin went to be cremated. What me and the rest of the family never realised is how long was the song was.So we went from crying our hearts out to laughing at the irony as it went on and on and we like to think he was sitting upstairs at laughing at us all while everyone checked their watch.I was so close to my Grandparents and did the eulogy for the 3 I grew up with.My father is very ill and I dread the day I have to do the eulogy . I hope one day you look at the good times and humour and likewise can find humour when it occurs in life naturally .

So sorry to hear of your loss predictor.This isn`t about Karma though my friend.I am sure you have never wished any of your picks to die who weren't murderers or paedophiles or other genuinely reprehensible people.You have nothing to be ashamed of.I used to work with the elderly and everyone informally made predictions about deaths.Just give yourself time to grieve for your loss before you start judging yourself.When those close to us die we always want to blame ourselves.Death is sadly a part of life.Predictions are not a wish list. Whatever happens though I wish you the best.
