I said December 10th the premiership of BlowJo had stage 4 pancreatic cancer.Given that stage 4 pancreatic cancer has a median survival rate of 3_5 months my prediction is still on track.Him lasting several more weeks in office seems most likely.He will drag the ship down with him it is a case of when those being dragged down know they are essentially bending down in the prison showers for the soap .Reminds me of one of those slow painful drawn out deaths.

It is very similar to pancreatic cancer in the way it is so stubborn resistant and ferociously relentless. I too know someone who died of glioblastoma .She was diagnosed at 79 and we were told yeah say goodbyes but she carried on for 14 months.Last few months were bleak though.I think she lasted as long as she did as they caught it earlier than in most cases and were able to do surgery almost immediately then chemotherapy and radiotherapy.They only operated as she was otherwise extremely healthy and it was caught early.Was known before all that this was only going one way and we were all surprised she lasted as long as she did.

For the record for anyone who gives a toss Jack Dromey died of heart failure. I did watch sky coverage of by-election as having trouble sleeping of late (body clock in night mood but haven`t worked nights in months) . I tried to analyse the result but there were no conclusions to be drawn as expected. No real opposition standing so just a load of fringe candidates against Firth. The turnout wasn`t even as low in some by elections. No mention of Boris in her speech though or anything really partisan was the only thing to note.

Gary Streeter and Anthony Mangnall have both sent letters in this afternoon. That makes 7 if I count correctly (Gale,Ross,Bridgen,Aldous,Ellwood,Mangnall,Streeter) that is of course not including Charles Walker ,William Wragg, Tim Loughton,David Davis and Andrew Mitchell who have declared no confidence also but not confirmed they sent a letter. Davis said he hadn`t the other day not sure about the others.
