In my family people have held on for, certain things then died.Relatives visiting babies being born Birthdays that sort of thing.

I reckon they would go ahead regardless.If the news was announced during the coverage my guess would be the news networks would just put a flash up line at the bottom of the screen.Having said that the family would probably delay an announcement for a few hours.

Yeah, big respect to him for fucking up Trumps inauguration if he goes in the next couple of days ! I am sick of all the hate for Trump to be honest. Give him a chance and see what happens. An old work colleague of mine who has terminal cancer would be top of the list followed by an old schoolfriend and crush of mines mother.My great aunt who has alzheimers would be on there as would my late uncles partner who is 91 but still fairly sprightly as well as my Godmothers mother who is in bad shape.I would also put a notable neighbour of mine who has alzheimers and before everyone asks he isnt on my DDP as I figured he would only get a local obit.He may get a QO but it was a gamble not worth taking.Also it would have felt wrong somehow to put someone I know personally on a list

Yep, dementia is a thing which goes up and down in waves and during moments where the sufferer is perhaps a bit more lucid, they can get angry or scared and highly distressed at times. They are not beyond twatting you with their walking stick as I discovered personally! Yes, it was the recent steep decline that caught my eye though. Especially when you consider that his son described him as being very very poorly in August.Clearly he is in a new phase altogether.

Possibly. One of my great uncles basically spent the last three years of his life either having strokes or recovering from them, and eventually they killed him but he was a shell of a man by then. Yeah it is a cruel way to die.

If he has final stage alzheimers and vascular dementia isnt it likely he will just keep suffering strokes until he dies?
