Good innings for a top-level sumo wrestler (yokozuna)

 

The three oldest now are Mienoumi Tsuyoshi (76) who looks 96 and has been suffering from a liver disease for more than half a decade, Onokuni Yasushi (62) who is even more obese than during his active years and Asahifuji Seiya (64) who has battled multiple illnesses. 

 

Here's Kitanofuji being defeated by Kotozakura Masakatsu (1940-2007), another yokozuna, in 1973.
