Imelda 621 Posted November 29, 2023 Just randomly popped into Maryport seeing as I'd heard of it via one of this site's most erstwhile members and I was on the train line. It's like Aberystwyth without the students. Lifeboat was a nice pub. Classical music at the train station; very upmarket. Learnt all about the Romans in Cumbria from the info boards as I waited an additional 20 mins for my Northern Fail train back to Carlisle. So now you know.
