HOBBS John B died peacefully on 29th February 2024 at Denville Hall care home, aged 87. The former BBC TV producer and director of the comedy series Brush Strokes, Butterflies, Bread and ’Allo ’Allo.

 

Production assistant on The Smugglers for Doctor Who. Worked on 80s Crackerjack (Crackerjack) and Terry And June I see.

Having had a few years to think about it, can we now give Dickie credit for being the first UK celeb to show a studied dislike of Meghan Markle?
