puzlman 0 Posted September 12, 2005 Hey, I was just wondering if there were any USA-run death pools that were worth joining for next year? I really like this pool, but I have to say I don't know half the celebrities some people have chosen because of their locality in G.B. Plus a lot of the people I chose and ones I would have liked to choose might not show up on any of the BBC outlets. I mean Bob Denver just died, does anyone on the East side of the Atlantic know who he is?? I know a large portion of the celebs chosen are from the US, but they are mostly Politicians and well known movie celebs, I'd like to choose obscure people like, the guy who played Eddie Munster or something. Also, was wondering if anyone would be interested in hosting a US DDP site or if I created one, would be enough people to join it to make in interesting? You will find a number of them there.

Well if you go to the website of Munsters. com you can click on the Butch Patrick bio and discover that his kidney was removed so he is getting by on just one and one extra gin and tonic and he's a goner . Rotten Ali 600 Posted September 12, 2005 puzlman Posted on Sep 12 2005, 06:25 AM Hey, I was just wondering if there were any USA-run death pools that were worth joining for next year? I'm using the ten name US based Rotten.com's dead pool site and find it quite the best to navigate. Bit hamstrung for not having many brits on its listings but I'm putting up with it. You can join it at any time during the year and you play it over a 365/6 day period. Find it at: http://deadpool.rotten.com Also I'm looking forward to putting in a 68 name team forward for next year's "Gazette". This is said to be the original US's best site ever. Find it at: http://www.egamegazette.net/index.html Looks good.
Handrejka 1,911 Posted September 12, 2005 Do you have a livejournal? There'll be some there. You don't have to have a livejournal to join them. Have a look at eicdp on livejournal

Rotten Ali 600 Posted February 26, 2011 I feel sure we are fast approaching a "sweet spot" in getting a team to successfully pick 10 out of 10 in the Rotten.com deadpool. I've put forward what I believed to be a strong team on the 9th of February and now after a few changes only three of my original team members still are on the squad. If that many are up for rightfull inclusion then I feel someone could just put a full house score together.
maryportfuncity 10,684 Posted February 26, 2011 Rotten Dead Pool isn't showing anyone on the leader board with more than six down Ali. Which is your team? Personally I would love it, LOVE IT! If the first full-house on there was from a British entrant. Unlikely to be me this year, mind. My team - entered on 1 Jan - still has nine alive and kicking. Last year (to the 5th Feb) I only ended up =23rd. This "year" has been under way for me for the last 18 days without profit.

On my last day before my 30 days, my picks still had the check mark boxes next to them, and I wanted to change one. So I removed it. When I tried to replace it, it said I couldnt make a pick after my thirty days. And the option to remove picks was still there. Now I have a team of only 9. B.S.
