the_engineer 1,415 Posted July 18, 2013 So what you reckon the odds are that the world cup in 2022 will be switched to another country ? I can't see the lucrative football leagues being put on the back burner for a winter world cup in qatar especially considering winter in qatar is similar to the heat wave we are having now in the uk. Maybe it might be moved to england you never know http://news.sky.com/story/1117348/qatar-world-cup-could-be-switched-to-winter

charon 4,943 Posted July 20, 2013 A couple of weeks ago , rangers international got a new bus, and charged 99p to watch a video on it online. In the last couple of days a couple of million shares have been ditched by Charles green who had a public admission to sell to the Scottish version of the Krays, the brothers easdale. One of the easdales got on the board last week. The easdales own a bus company. The bus company owned rangers superduper bus. Five others were torched today along with the superduper bus. The easdales need to pay for the shares, but how? They have history of torching things /people etc.....wonder how much they were insured for... No trialists were injured or died as far as I know. the_engineer 1,415 Posted July 28, 2013 Who will get relegated Hibs or Hearts ? I can see hearts getting relegated similar to Portsmouth's relegation (from the championship then league 1) ,They can't sign any players and huge 15 point gap to make up. Essentially they need to win 5 more games than there fellow strugglers .

the_engineer 1,415 Posted August 5, 2013 http://www.coventryobserver.co.uk/2013/08/05/news-Coventry-City-Ltd-in-liquidation-79895.html I'm confused by this I thought liquidation means the club is wound up , but they are still playing now? Has there ever been a time when a club is liquidated during a season ? I'd imagine they would just give everyone a 3 nil win over them and promotes a extra team from league 2 at the end of the season.
Red Flag 84 Posted August 5, 2013 Loads of times - happens in the non-league divisions all the time. Chester City were the most recent sizeable team to go during a season in 2009-10. The team's record is expunged and the league continues as if it only had 1 fewer team to begin with Coventry City have not been liquidated. Coventry City Ltd =/= the club

charon 4,943 Posted August 6, 2013 Coventry City have not been liquidated. Coventry City Ltd =/= the club Not quite as straightforward as that. A sports club , once incorporated , cannot be unincorporated . it can however be Liquidated. In effect the assets have been flogged and a new club formed with coventrys league "share" , though the League probably will ignore that.
