The Grammy-winning It's Raining Men was a huge UK hit in 1984 - long before Geri Halliwell had a smash hit with it in 2001, which featured, the same year, in the film Bridget Jones's Diary. To this day, no Saturday night disco is complete without the original version that begins with the couplet "Hi, we're your Weather Girls, and have we got news for you ...
