Perhaps the greatest thread ever would have been insurmountable had I known about it when fellow Detroit Tiger broadcaster Paul Carey passed away. Alas. And imagine contending threads just as they reach the heights of this one, thinking they've caught up, and one of Ernie and Lulu's four children (Bill, Gray, Julie and Carolyn) die and this thread continues ad infinitum!
