DeathersPhoenix 9 Posted January 17, 2020 Inspired by Derek Fowlds death being completely wrongly thrust in the bloody Basil Brush thread... Everyones favourite 90s and 00s nostalgia show, call the midwife with coppers for those of you who are too young - yes that really did used to pulll in 18.0m+ viewers. I haven't bothered with the reccurring characters who weren't made regulars as there's enough for a theme team in this lot. Heef 166 Posted January 21, 2020 Yes. He shouldn't have been in the Basil Brush thread. He should have been in a Yes Minister/Yes Prime Minister one. Heartbeat. Pffft. What next? A thread for Lovejoy?
Toast 16,232 Posted January 21, 2020 I never watched Heartbeat, although I was frequently in a room where others were watching it. My main impression was that a lot of old 60s hits were played for no apparent reason. They never seemed to be thoughtfully matched to whatever was going on in the story. 1
