I've genuinely sat here taking it for granted that Allis was a cricket commentator, which perhaps unintentionally shows his fame level in this house.

Suspect half the forum know 'A' Tom Smith . I know two...... just not that one. 11 minutes ago, msc said: I've genuinely sat here taking it for granted that Allis was a cricket commentator, which perhaps unintentionally shows his fame level in this house. Cricket in Scotland, I can see that. :D. There's a Paul Allott who is a cricket commentator...

"Sure I know all the rules, mon Colin Montgomerie, don't screw up the final shot....WHY DO YOU ALWAYS SCREW UP THE FINAL SHOT.... fuck it, golf's shite..." Or something like that. I knew who Tom Smith was, but as a Scot with a passing interest in our rugby side that's probably a cheat!
Joey Russ 7,229 Posted July 12, 2020 For me when I looked at the names available I basically ask myself do I think they’re worthy of the list or not regardless of whether I heard of them before? Apart from Gates Sr (for obvious reasons), all of them I do think deserve a spot on the list even though there are names I personally think are pretty dull.
