German Footballers black up to protest racism Could you imagine if arsenal did this, oh hang on they wouldn't need the digital altering. -
Actually. This is utterly wrong. Because we don't have much room we pack a lot of people into urban areas. We're closer to the countryside than you guys in big cities, but were not living in it, The World Bank says that urban populations in the UK are almost equal if not a bit higher than the US. http://data.worldbank.org/indicator/SP.URB.TOTL.IN.ZS

Alan Rothwell left an awful lot sooner than Lowrie and then you open the can of worms as to whether Anne Cunningham would merit a place. I suppose a poll of surviving members of the cast in that first episode could be made: William Roache Alan Rothwell Philip Lowrie Patrick Shakesby (Susan, Ken's girlfriend) Anne Cunningham Or all the original cast: Doreen Keogh (5 February 1926) (Concepta Riley) Ernst Walder (17th November 1927) (Ivan Cheveski) Anthony Booth (9th October 1931) (Malcolm Wilkinson) William Roache (25th April 1932) (Ken Barlow) Philip Lowrie (20 June 1936) (Dennis Tanner) Alan Rothwell (9 February 1937) (David Barlow) Anne Cunningham (1st March, 1937) (Linda Cheveski) Patricia Shakesby (6 November 1942) (Susan Cunningham)

The usual person Joe Bloggs couldn't name slipping in after a major celebrity death for maximum exposure I see.

Things To Do While Waiting For Death

No news for a year, should we assume the worst? -
Somehow made it to my shadowlist, despite not expecting him to die.

2016 claims another victim. Sad news, a true great of television and comedy. He'll be remembered fondly. Heavens about to get the best variety show in history as the Two Ronnies unite at last. Honestly thought he'd make 100.

Muted support. He seems pretty pissed off that Lerner stays in the US and doesn't bother asking for his help. His voice sounds warn and that picture of him looks unflattering to say the least/

That's not necessarily the same thing. Armed officers could legitimately take the life of a criminal if that person is about to take the life of someone. You cannot have Police standing by watching someone stab/shoot a person dead. The argument as to whether the Police were justified in shooting before asking questions is another point entirely. This country doesn't routinely arm our Police but we still have armed response units because we must. Mistakes have been made but its far less straighforwards than an actual trial by Jury jobbie. The Menez ruling today seems to imply that they just need to be in the vicinity, or believed to be in the vicinity, of someone who might commit a life-threatening crime for the police to be ok to shoot them.

I don't think he understands the definition of a village. Villages that are very close to each other and don't have much open space between them are called estates and usually make up part of a town/city. Or... there's a difference in the American and British definition. First time I've heard the word estate used in that context. Depends on the people who live in it, those who think they're better than the rest of us live in areas/wards/places.

Do you all live in villages? Also the nature reserve could have kept them in a separate pond to the mallards.

How many of those complaints would be from parents who had no idea what their kids were watching until it had upset them? Surely if it was on Channel 5 no-one would have seen it anyway. I can't remember how old I was when the film came out, but old enough to have left home. I saw it in the cinema and was taken aback by the explicit violence. If it had been a darker style of animation, like the LOTR one, it wouldn't have been so shocking. I don't have any children, but if I had I wouldn't have let them watch that film, not as children anyway. So it's quite possible that these parents hadn't seen it themselves, if their own parents knew it was unsuitable. Hope that makes sense. I may have mentioned this before but I was once witness to a fantastic argument between a couple in a library about whether to borrow this film for their very small son. The U certificate is misleading. Who won? Please tell me Timmy got to see the wee bunny rabbits in the fields - being shot.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis

This board seems to attract people with woman problems like flies to shit, doesn't it? My mum's a psycho bitch queen from Hades who made my first 20 years on this planet about as productive as asking a footballer to read a book, Shaun of the Dead's ex-girlfriend is a Fatal Attraction-type stalker, Maryport's the only DJ in the entire country with a wife his own age, Lard has blood coming out of her wherever...... I always assumed Lard was a bit old to have blood coming out her wherever.. -
Go fuck yourself. You couldn't qualify for the Euros.

Hope you recover quickly Mr. Creepy. Try public transport next time. FTFY Public transportation doesn't work for American who buy trucks. Try bringing home a deer, bear or moose on a bus. Oh I don't know, there are some *Americans* that are considerably fatter larger than a deer, bear or moose and they fit on busses there, right? * Applies to the British too. * Hi Seeing as it's the anterior ribs I broke, I've been updated that in fact I've broken my BACK in two places. Also, this happened in a remote area of southern Louisiana, so a discussion of public transportation rather misplaced this time, though I agree with the sentiment SC Don't worry I'll get Deathray for that remark, he thinks he's coming over right now for "Football Manager and chill" but his head's going straight down the toilet BTW, does this mean your posts for the next 6-8 weeks could be considered spinal pap? Let me think 2-3 months, was it a sectioning or I wonder what else? -

Post. There's 61 people online ffs. -
The fact ITV still haven't released the Coronation Street archive in each episodes original form (not the Granada repeats) to DVD/ITVPlayer/YouTube officially - how hard can it be to run ten thousand or so films through digitisation equipment. It would be the single best thing the channel had ever done, that or play them on telly so we can record them and keep them (with the initial ad break times). I want to watch the programme from the beginning. Lord knows it was better back then, and that's from watching the first few episodes.

A DL friendly variant on the ole count to a million game i.e name a million famous dead people. No name can appear twice. Post number then the person, i.e 1 - Ayrton Senna 2 - Tony Benn ------------ 1,000,000 James Gandolfini I'll start. 1 - Tony Benn
-
We could restart an actualy do it legitimately. Name someone famous with a unique wikipedia page to themselves who has deceased. Max one person per post. I'll start. 1. Queen Elizabeth I

Didn't really get that impression. He looked very well in the shots we saw of him, especially for a 95 year old man - no issues walking unaided. Beatrice got a bit teary when discussing his importance to the Queen, but maybe that just backs up our theory that if he goes soon, she may go down hill a lot faster. He looked well, but to me the kids seemed to be blatantly reading a script more so than they were for Queeny. Hidden skeletons in his closet perhaps?

Hope you recover quickly Mr. Creepy. Try public transport next time. FTFY Then again, that's not always the best option.
