I made a similar mistake in my DDP theme team...but because themaninblack is a legend, I'm sure he'll fix it. http://www.davidhocking.org/aboutdavid.html You entered this guy? Preaching for 50 years, and married since 1962 which makes him at least 70 odd - possibly more. Not too shabby.

Oooo you might be on to something there, I haven't watched last night's yet Hopefully not, she'd be useful in the run up to the 30th and it'd be pretty damn unimaginative.

So here's the 2015 Masterlist: 16 teams with 234 celebrities picked between yous - lots of sharing going on given the possible 400, I have decided to permit the latecomers because this is my deadpool and things aren't normally done within a month of needing done anyway, what's 24 or so hours. I may be liable to change this policy next year depending on whether I've got up on the right side of bed or not. What Do You Think Of The 2015 Death List?
Deathray replied to Davey Jones' Locker's topic in DeathList Forum
32 of the names are over 90... seems little imagination. Shame not to see any soap actors on there -
If you need a hand writing bios give me a shout.
-
As you have apparently already PMed me a team I'm assuming you've posted this in the wrong thread and am using your PMed version. Yeah, that bears an uncanny resemblance to a list I was dealing with a few minutes ago. It's also 5 short of a full compliment, unlike his PM one..
-
Yes, whilst my teams a joke team and it doesn't really affect me the people who've PMed you have likely done it to avoid giving away obscure picks for other deadpools with the Derby Dead Pool, Hartlepool Dead Pool and Hares Death Pool all still accepting entries it seems only fair to keep them concealed until midnight.

I say let 'em in. Deadlines are guidelines not hard limits.
-
Oh. Well as one of my least favourite DL picks ever, I suppose that's one way of ......... Wait. Oh fuck. I'm drawn with you Predictor....... no wait, you win on a tie-break cos of more hits. Deathray if you have any clean tissues left after you've finished wanking to Rainer's pics, I could use some... or, alternatively.... COME ON CASTRO DIE NOW DIE NOW DIE NOW She's about 85 years too old for me, Zorders.

All the soaps were better in the old days, Eastenders was much better when it started, I've started watching it again in the last few months only because I want Danny Dyer to ruin my flange. I'm off to Youtube to check out some old scenes! They go through phases (inevitably for programs that going on for that long), EastEnders is in an up phase at the minute. You reckon it'll be Nick who gets offed on Thursday or someone else? Nothing to do with phases - they were better in earlier times because there were only two episodes a week. For years. Coronation Street was on Mondays & Wednesdays, Eastenders was on Tuesdays & Thursdays, dunno about Emmerdale Farm (as it used to be called) because I never watched it. Then somebody started the rot by adding an extra episode, and so on until they were on nearly every bloody night. Same amount of butter, more slices of bread ... They still managed to produce some utter shite in the 1960s and 1970s with two episodes a week. A lot of it is too do with producers and how well they care for the show, Dominic Treadwell-Collins at EastEnders saw exactly what was needed, a shift in focus away from the same old faces; thus the Carter's were born, a mystery - thus Lucy Beale's death and all the interest it'll bring in the New Year, and some good old-fashioned bastard; thus Nick Cotton returned to fake his own death and use his sleazy son Charlie to get to him and Dean rapes Linda. Most importantly relationships seem to have been brought to the fore through the drama, which in essence makes a soap. Meanwhile over at Corrie Blackburns failed to remove the many deadwood characters, left a load of bonkers relationships plots running, used what could have been a great depression storyline as a basis for turning Steve into some kind off petty theif and created ridiculous love triangles. Not to mention the fucking gym storyline or the bizarre attempts at comedy. And I slight disagree on number of episodes, the tech we've got to film is far greater these days and as they've become core-output three nights a week their teams will have increased accordingly. Yes, the actors have to work harder and are paid less than the stars of old were, but that's the way the world is. However, 5 episodes a week of corrie is overload but as several generations are now transfixed I can't see ITV pulling some episodes down, especially as they'd probably need a comedy to fill the gap, or sports programme - neither of which they've been very good at.

Seen as this thread exists it seems like the most appropriate place for my shadow list: Rev Billy Graham Sam Simon Zsa Zsa Gabor Elizabeth Dawn Muhammad Ali Clive James Vera Lynn Abe Vigoda Christopher Lee George Bush Senior Dennis Healey Olivia de Havilland Nancy Reagan Jimmy Carter Fidel Castro Stephen Hawking Prince Philip Nicholas Winton Mary Tyler Moore Caroline Ahern Valerie Harper Clare Hollingworth Bhumibol Adulyadej Jimmy Carter June Brown Terry Pratchett Tony Booth Ronnie Corbett Ray Reardon Roy Mason Lemmy Kilminster Ozzy Osbourne Luis Jordain Geoffrey Howe Eileen Derbyshire Doreen Keogh Lord Carrington Mary Carlisle Mary Wilson Ethel Lang John Nott Joan Collins Sandy Gall Bernard Cribbins Rodney Beuwes Shimon Peres Lee Kuan Yew Doris Day Betty White Stuart Hall

I'd assume the list would have been locked before Christmas Zorders to be honest, with a few spares obviously.

6 players score 363 points with the death of Luise Rainer. (Estuarian Float, The Unknown Man, Whoam, Death Impends, the_engineer and USFuneralDirector). Could we be in or a photo-finish with 5 players now able to win wiith 1 hit The leaderboard for 2014 now looks a bit like this: Can Still win with 1 ordinary death Rotten Ali 1762 Death Impends 1605 Whoam 1599 Estuarian Float 1480 CaptainChorizo 1416 Can still win with 1 wildcard death USFuneral Director 1067 Needs more than 1 death Toast 984 the_engineer 878 maryportuncity 739 Book 724 The Unknown Man 638

Will this be running in 2015?
-
Norma Major might, as it'll make the longest-lived ex-PM wife,
-
I really think we need one corrie actor on their, Liz Dawn, William Roache or Eileen Derbyshire being the obvious candidates. Btw, does Anne Kirkbride look as fucked as Dierdre in real life, if so she'd make a great contender especially giving her recent two month sick leave, maybe she's fell ill and is keeping it quiet due to the depression she experienced during the whole lymphona thing in the 90's. Thoughts? Or Doreen Keogh.

Nancy Reagan Or Barbara Bush In 2014?
Deathray replied to USFuneralDirector's topic in DeathList Forum
well whadya know-none of them died! :_ If I remember correctly Gerald Ford snuffed it at about this time of year - so there's still time. He was a Boxing Day Bonus, we've passed that stage, seems none of the 4 presidential potentials are gone
