I guess I walked into that one. Oh well, it was fun and now it's not. Take care.

    Rob Ford

Robert Bruce Ford definitely made for an interesting footnote in Canadian history. My condolences to his family.

    Seen Any Good Films Lately?

Just got home from seeing Deadpool with my daughter. Gratuitous violence for sure and VERY funny (campy); a must see if that is your thing.

    Madonna

I used to be a Madonna wannabe back in the early-mid 80's. Woman is not aging well, plus she calculatingly nuts.

    The dead of 2016

Alanis Morissette. Close but not quite. There was rain on my wedding day; and yes, good advice that I just didn't take. I met the man of my dreams, there was no beautiful wife but he did move back to Holland. All unfortunate but not really ironic. Thank you disillusionment... I've asked for the Jagged Little Pill anniversary boxed set for my birthday.

LFN: Justin gained public attention when he spoke at his father's funeral in 2000. The story is that the Liberal executive begged him to enter politics which he eventually did in 2008. I've mentioned it before, when my son asked me during the 2015 election campaign: Who is Justin Trudeau? I responded: Our next prime minister. Pierre was infamous for flipping the bird at the west; Justin actually lived and taught school in Vancouver. Who his father was helped, but he had to have a sound platform of his own to actually win. I think he has the potential to be greater than the father. Maggie had a reputation allegedly she has been with rock stars and politicians. A friend of my mum's went to High School with her (I went to the same HS, too) said that Maggie was a hippy wild child typical of the 60's. It was a shock when she married the much older Pierre. I heard one first hand story that Trudeaus liked to party hard. It is not a surprise that Justin is for the decriminalization of marijuana. Charon: Justin is Scottish-French Canadian. His mum is a Sinclair. So maybe you could half like him?

Interesting, our new and shiny PM, Justin Trudeau, gaining international recognition for being a hunk. He actually has decent policies and formed a balanced cabinet. More than a pretty face, eh?

    Shove Off, Eh?

The Fox family are pretty much royalty in the Tri-Cities (where I live). I voted for Terry over Tommy Douglas as the greatest Canadian. I never knew Terry or the Fox family, but his legacy is every where. Both Betty and Roland did so much for cancer awareness, honouring their son at the same time. RIP Rolly.

Good gravy! I've actually seen Emerson, Lake and & Palmer in concert with the wasband. It was a long time ago before we married I think. It is a tough year for him, first his idol Bowie and now 1/3 of one of his favourite bands. Morissey must be next.

    William Shatner Versus Martin Landau

Son is home now, he said that he couldn't confirm as he doesn't know the word l'étalon. Where is GuyLeveques when you need him/her?
