to Charlotte Rae 92 today!

I would have included Stan Lee and Jimmy Greaves over a couple of those names.

I'm a delicious fruity Crumble not a piece of heated bread! Seriously though who is Toastie or are you meaning @Toast

Sad so young. Guy from Austin Powers The spy who shagged me? Has cause of death been revealed please?

Just found out that Elizabeth Taylors brother Howard is still alive aged 88 according to Google information. Given this and that her mother lived into her nineties I'm convinced that Elizabeth would still be alive if she hadn't of had such a strongly addictive personality, alcohol, tobacco and prescription drugs. Or if she'd have quit them 5-10 years earlier. Then again I dare say it can be argued that her legendary iconic fame wouldn't have been what it was if she hadn't of had such an addictive nature.

I'm trying to spot some of the less senior royals on BBC one at the Queen's birthday concert right now to see if I can figure anything out about their general health etc! In terms of who I'm interested in so far I've only caught a glimpse of the Queens cousin Princess Alexandra. Not sure if the duke of Kent and Prince Michael of Kent and their spouses are there. Ditto the Gloucesters.

https://www.elizabethdolefoundation.org/statement-of-senator-robert-dole-and-senator-elizabeth-dole-on-the-passing-of-former-first-lady-barbara-bush/ This is the statement Bob Dole and his wife Elizabeth issued a few days ago in reaction to Barbara Bushs passing but did he attend the funeral? I know not too long ago he met the newly appointed Secretary of state at his confirmation hearing because his account tweeted a photo of the occasion.

Next Unexpected "national Treasure" Death
Gooseberry Crumble replied to Sean's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
A lot hinges on the definition of national treasure of course but I'd say Vera Lynn except at 101 that wouldn't count as unexpected. Let me throw a few names out there. Christopher Biggins? Paul O'Grady? Barbara Windsor? Joan Collins? Joan seems immortal or at least in very good form for someone 85 next month so her death would likely be a shock unexpected one. -
both dead Duchess of Bedford and Lady Bliss

But alas my personal regular DDP favourite The Dowager Duchess of Grafton is still soldiering on aged 98! -
Yes I suppose the term vice lady or 'Vice First' lady could take on particular connotations to those with a tendency to be bad minded especially given the scurrilous allegations made in sections of the media about the personal work history of Melania Trump!

I don't mind people thinking it's odd looking its fine by me honestly!

Your a treasure trove of information @YoungWillz I'd actually forgotten all about Stella Stevens but I think I recall hearing her son actor Andrew say in an interview a few years back that she was in poor health?

African Leaders - Despots and Democratic
Gooseberry Crumble replied to Cowboy Ronnie's topic in DeathList Forum
https://www.journalducameroun.com/en/paul-biya-invited-commonwealth-summit/ Paul Biya President of Cameroon was invited to the important commonwealth summit in London but didn't attend and sent his Prime Minister instead.. He's quite elusive at home too and not very often seen in public. One perhaps to keep an eye on. -
I'd be very surprised if she's not on next year but once she does pass away I think there will be a dearth of first ladies on the list for a little while given the age of the remaining first ladies. Vice First Ladies (if that's the term?) however like say Lynne Cheney might be a different story.

Sorry but I don't see it as a big deal. We all have our own ways on these things and that's that really.

Well spotted! Thanks! Awful basic error which I don't know why I made it as when I searched to check if a thread existed I searched under the correct spelling!

Very low tactics by the Arizonan state senate republicans.

Indeed a unique pick in one of my DDP teams (Apricot Crumble) I sensed a tragic vibe lost soul feeling about him and there were whispers and rumours that tallied with that after his non attendance at his close pal Cilla Black's funeral. Very sad news.

Dale Winton a unique pick for me in my Apricot Crumble team. Really sad news. I choose him because I sensed a tragic vibe about him and could not imagine him living to a grand old age. Anyway best to say no more at the moment with it being so soon.
-
Now you mention it I can't remember seeing or hearing from him at all in the media during the EU referendum debate in 2016 which given his history is quite striking.

Will be entering this in the next few days. Cheers Captain
