Voice actor Randy Schell, the man behind promos for AMC's hit series "The Walking Dead," was killed Saturday in a skydiving accident in Houston. Schell, a licensed and experienced skydiver, collided with a second jumper in mid-air after both deployed their parachutes at Skydive Spaceland Houston, leaving Schell's parachute collapsed. The second jumper was treated for a leg injury. SC

CarolAnn needs to invite me to a coffee shop. I mean for Christ sake I drive within 40 miles of her home. Alas. Only chance I can see of meeting any of you. Anyone else in the American S/SW?

I genuinely chuckled at the 11-15 year olds 'liking' this post. "Well, I HEARD about a blowjob; saw one on PornHub...." SC -
I have no idea the girl's age. She was 17 in January. Could well be 18 now (50-50 chance). I can't prove she's 18 and you can't prove she isn't. My pick is Ciara Nelson of Victoria (AUS). So long as she's 18 when her operation she shouldn't be having is an unmitigated disaster, she qualifies. Her obit is only a 20% chance. SC

Who's Going To Be Around For A While?

Every single person named in the Next Music Shock Death thread. SC -
Played trombone in HS, and afterward learned bass guitar (to some extent) which remains my main instrument of choice, though I've written a number of songs while sitting at the piano/keyboard. About 5 years ago I crushed the tippy-tip of my middle finger/left hand and kinda ended my bass playing, along with just being old and lazy. Now I just sing karoake. ...."And my father was 75 when I was born, his father was 63 when he was born," Harrison Tyler explained." Here I thought having a child at 47 was an oddity. SC

(Reported in April -- but search brings up nothing, so...) Fiamalu Penitani, who competed as Musashimaru, is in a Tokyo hospital recovering from a kidney transplant, the Star-Advertiser has learned. Meanwhile, reports say Chad Rowan, who competed as Akebono, is hospitalized in southern Japan. SC

Snooker player Ronnie O'Sullivan has said he was in hospital for "four or five days" following a breakdown at the Snooker World Championships in 2016. I'm just happy to post something in here after 18 months in the doldrums. SC

Genshin also known as Eshin Sozu, was the most influential of a number of Tendai scholars active during the tenth and eleventh centuries in Japan. Genshin is credited as the founder of the Enshin school of Tendai Buddhism, and for espousing the "original enlightenment" teaching, or hongaku, where one is originally enlightened, but unaware of it -- like YOU are now after reading this. Genshin - 1000 years ago today!

It's ok, my country celebrates (well, just celebrated) it's independence on July 4th when in fact the document declaring such was signed on July 2nd. Something about a straggler or two that needed to sign it weren't able to do so until the 4th; but the history books DO note that they were wearing Pierre Cardin chaps. SC

Ahead of the Fourth of July weekend, someone posted a story about a bull shark being caught in a Kentucky lake. Anyone with a brain cell can see it's for amusement purposes only. But oh .... oh hell to the no ... enough Trump voters in Kentucky and elsewhere BELIEVED this story, and so the KY Dept of Fish & Wildlife had to post on Facebook and elsewhere informing people in fact no sharks were in their FRESH WATER lakes (SMGDFH). 6 billion people.....there's bound to be a few out there. #33: For the fourth time, the town of Rabbit Hash, Kentucky elected a dog to be its mayor. Jordie Bamforth says her 3-year-old pit bull Brynneth Pawltro beat out a cat, a chicken and a donkey, among others, to become the next mayor of Rabbit Hash, 78 miles (125 kilometers) north of Lexington. SC

#32: Miss Countess, a Red Angus on the Lonesome Creek Ranch in Hillsboro (KS), performed quite a feat in giving birth to live triplets about three weeks ago. Carl Garten, director of the Central Kansas Extension District, said cattle triplets occur once in 105,000 births. And there’s only a 25 percent chance that triplets will be born alive, said ranch owner Darren Schrag. “All three of them were born fine, which is unheard of,” Schrag said. “As soon as they came out, they were up running around." I found the first story but it doesn't mention Mr. Ross as a singer/musician at all. Google locates nothing re: second story. I don't doubt either, just looking for links. SC

Bravo on the missylist, Biblio! You mentioned I speared a few of your uniques, but the only name I see belonging exclusively to the two of us is David Mundell. I see a few others where it's you and I and a third player, and likely they turned their lists in after you said that to make it a manage-a-trois. SC

Ever since the 'upgrade' and relaunch, I've not been able to even open the webpage on my iPhone 7+, which uses Safari as a search engine. Is there some goddamn reason Safari suddenly doesn't open this page? Hello Admins. ?? "Safari cannot open the page because "network connection has been lost'". I dont' know what that is trying to tell me, other than fahk-off. SirC
