This sucks. I loved 'Trapped' but admittedly was one of his rare fans. Was working at a record store (1985-86) when that came out.RIP Colonel

It did. Now the "biggest death of the year" debate can be reignited... Another moron. How shallow you and DeathRay must be. And CoffinLodger. Am I missing anyone else who suggested such utter garbage?. What asshats--Or are y'all closet Commies? I guess then it's a big deal. Maybe 2016's Least Consequential Death, that I'll buy. SC

The Phoenix Zoo says its southern white rhinoceros named Half Ear has died. She was 45. Half Ear struggled for several months with decreased appetite, weight loss and reduced mobility before being euthanized Tuesday evening. Officials said the median life expectancy for a southern white rhinoceros is 33 and the record lifespan for a female is 53. Gene Guarilia died Sunday at home in Duryea. He was 79. He played on the Bill Russell era Celtics. Guarilia was able to say something few — perhaps no other — athletes can say. “I won four championships in four years,” Guarilia said in a 2001 Times-Tribune story. “A perfect four for four.” SC http://m.thetimes-tribune.com/sports/local-basketball-legend-guarilia-dies-1.2121197 -

F**K OFF 2016 My sister spent a year studying in Manchester--she said the band members of all the bands would just be locals hanging out in the pub. She said IC was just about the best show she ever saw and is devastated. One of the drawbacks of playing DP is you hear the news first, sometimes news we don't want to hear. This prolly will fly under the radar in the States as they weren't played here at all. I think I have a cassette lol somewhere. SirC

I'll not be investigating the facts but last I looked, neither an aneurism nor falling down are unnatural. How many hundreds of thousands if not millions per year die after 'breaking their hip'? How do you think they broke that there hip? I should hope we aren't awarding points for falling as an unnatural event or act. I suppose choking would be unnatural under that definition.SC

Arizona Cardinals (NFL) head coach Bruce Arians has been hospitalized twice in the past couple months with chest pains. I understand we've had a couple sports-related Americans this year in the List of the Lost, but I don't think a head coach should fear missing a U.K. Obit (see Dennis Green this year). Would be an interesting pick by the committee just to change things up a little, they got 49 other picks to be stodgy and hackneyed with. Michael Skupin, who burned himself during the 2001 series "Survivor II: The Australian Outback" and who returned for "Survivor: Philippines," was convicted Friday on four of six child porn possession counts by jurors in Oakland County, Michigan. Let's see how he 'survives' in prison--a C-list celeb with child porn conviction. SC http://www.freep.com/story/news/local/michigan/oakland/2016/11/18/michael-skupin-child-porn/94092378/
