Le Monde reports that Pierre Étaix, the Oscar-winning French comedian and filmmaker, has died at the age of 88. He’s best known for his acclaimed short- and feature-length films in the 1960’s, all of which were tied up in rights disputes for over 20 years until their eventual restoration and revival in 2012, courtesy of Janus Films. These films include “Le Grand Amour,” “As Long as You’ve Got Your Health,” “Land of Milk and Honey,” “Rupture,” “The Suitor,” and “Yoyo.” SC http://www.indiewire.com/2016/10/pierre-etaix-dead-oscar-le-grand-amour-criterion-collection-1201736707/ -

Which makes the fact Richard Overton hasn't dropped over all year in this his 109th on earth all the more frustrating. I'd kill the bastard myself if it didn't void my points. Hell between he and Emma Moreno I've got 224 years on my team and they look like 2016 miscues.SC Yes SC, two human beings continue to live and deny you points. How can they be so inconsiderate? The fahkin bastards

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

She was a star in her own right and you put her in Fringes? Have you bought Lady Creep a new kitchen sink and chains recently?http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0366189/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cecilia_Hart https://www.ibdb.com/broadway-cast-staff/cecilia-hart-86931 You are right, I posted her as such on my site and just never got back here at 2am to move her appropriately. I wouldn't call her a fucking star but let's leave it at 'actress' and she should have been given a fair shake. SC -
She's not even credited on IMDb so she must have been a small part--but nonetheless CERTAINLY the last cast member to have been alive from Hunchback, what with Maureen O'Hara dying almost exactly a year earlier (Oct 24 2015). Looking at the cast I saw an Etienne Girardot, b, Feb 22 1856, who died in 1939 age 83. I'm sure there's some movies with an old man and a young kid in it that rival this, but the lifespan of actors in a movie from 2-22-1856 to 10-22-2016 HAS to be near the top, though I won't take the time to calculate how many days that is. (Looks exactly 160 years 8 months) SirC

Cecilia Hart, the wife of James Earl Jones, died Sunday after a battle with ovarian cancer. She was 68. Hart and Jones, 85, met on the set of the 1979-80 Steven Bochco series Paris. They married in 1982, after playing opposite one another in a revival of William Shakespeares Othello that same year. They have one son together Flynn Earl Jones.
