This will be one of my favorite obits all year! Concepcion Picciotto, the protester who maintained a peace vigil outside the White House that was widely considered to be the longest-running (30 YEARS) act of political protest in U.S. history, has died. RIP ma'am!! SC https://woub.org/2016/01/26/longtime-street-protestor-dies/ -
I don't like any of the names at all. But I choose Joey Feek, who should be next. But she's not an option. But her initials (JF) I used to see who was the closest to choosing her. Therefore, Jimmy Greaves. (JG) SC

TotalBiscuit quits all social media but says he still expects another "two-to-three years minimum" on this planet. Pardon me for thinking he'd like to chat it up if't were the case. I always admire the over-positive cancer patients. Gone by July. Already lost a Jimmy Bain (http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=2389&p=250772) so the Reaper going for the Bain double! I'm trying to chase new info down on Mark Farren and can't find squat (not even these promising photos you speak of) I'm still interested in the cacophony of a GoFundMe that on May 1 2015 is supposed to send him to GERMANY for unique cancer treatment, and by May 14 that is switched to MEXICO (nothing like Mexican health care I say... a-hem) So what gives? Anyway it's pretty quiet for 8 months now seeing as he was fully funded to get treatment (i.e. remove a grade 4 tumour?). I'd like him to perish, not that I'm ROOTING for it or anything SC

Seems with the other bonuses flying around that '2 hits in one day' bonus would have been a natural. Alas I'll have to dream my dreamy little dreams about what could have been (Jan 6, Hassan Asif, Pat Harrington Jr) SC

Marvin Minsky, who combined a scientist’s thirst for knowledge with a philosopher’s quest for truth as a pioneering explorer of artificial intelligence, work that helped inspire the creation of the personal computer and the Internet, died of a cerebral hemorrhage on Sunday night in Boston. He was 88. Surprisingly no DDP action. SC -

How come no one informed me about this guy? SC Former Peruvian president Alberto Fujimori, who is serving a 25-year prison term for corruption and human rights violations, has been hospitalized, officials said Monday, the latest in a string of health crises. Fujimori, 77, was transferred under heavy guard Sunday to a clinic in the capital Lima for a gastric problem and bleeding on his tongue, where he has had a recurring cancerous lesion.

Former major-league outfielder Clyde Mashore, father of Texas Rangers assistant hitting coach Justin Mashore, died on Sunday at his home in Brentwood, Ca. He was 70. Clyde Mashore appeared in 241 major-league games during five seasons with Cincinnati and Montreal. His accomplishments included hitting a homer that carried out of Montreal's Parc Jarry in 1972. I grew up in Detroit and love my Tigers but also LOVED the Expos. The franchise doesn't exist and it always sucks to lose one. Even ones I don't know about. SC
