You mean the one who authored that book I mentioned last year? That's a key point otherwise it looks like we would get excited over some random bodyguard..... I thought it rang a faint bell with me! Nothing came up on my search, apologies for not quoting you. *humbled by DrZ* Well done DrZ It's telling in that if true and if any connection, Fidel still wields some power and thus not as close to his demise as suspected. Whether a connection exists who knows. SC

How Pyrrhic. The old joke: 'My grandfather invented the potion that chased all the elephants out of Nebraska.' 'There's no ELEPHANTS in Nebraska!' 'See how well it worked!' SC

And now U2's tour manager Dennis Sheehan has died: http://www.theguardian.com/music/2015/may/28/u2-honour-tour-manager-dennis-sheehan-found-dead-in-hotel-room He was 68 years old and had been their manager for 30 years. He also worked with other bands like Led Zeppelin. Edit: Eh, sorry, too late, I saw nothing in the Dead Pop Stars thread or here. Probably cuz he's not a pop star or merely a fringe personality. SC

Lol I love you too :-) Hey if we post any old date then we'd post the same names every single year. SC

"She was released from prison two years ago, after serving nearly 30 years" so not sure how she's saved the taxpayers money. You got me--victim of my own presumptions :-(How a person on death row has anything less than life without parole I do not know. Learn something new every day. SC Perhaps if you'd read the report you'd linked to... Sometimes I do, but generally of little or no importance to me past the first couple sentences. My concern is being first, not the content therein. SC

Along with Mullen's father dying on the launch of this tour, it's turning out to be a costly one. Bodies are piling up...SC

Book that's very impressive, points or not. Perhaps I'm trapped on the wrong side of the Pond, but are you in Germany?? It's some damn solid research, mate, what finds old German sitcom actors. What would even make you hunt such a thing down? Well done. SC -
Are you taking credit for the death of a person caused by not wearing a seat belt? Did you suggest Nash for his poor safety practices? If not, fuck off. SC

Former North Carolina legislator John H. Kerr III of Goldsboro has died. He was 79. Sandra Kerr said her husband died Sunday. A Democrat, Kerr was first elected to the state House in 1986. He held the seat for three terms before election to the Senate, where he served until retiring in 2008. SC http://hamptonroads.com/node/753160

Johnnie Brasington was the longest-tenured dealer in General Motors history, selling Cadillacs and Oldsmobiles to generations of Gainesville (FL) car buyers. He died of natural causes Saturday night in hospice care in Palatka at age 104. Brasington’s customers included entertainers such as John Travolta and Bo Diddley, and politicians such as Harry Truman's Vice President Albin Barkley, Sen. Claude Pepper and Johnnie's friend, Gov. Fuller Warren. Elvis Presley bought a Cadillac while in Ocala filming “Follow That Dream.” SC http://www.gainesville.com/article/20150526/articles/150529760

There's only 20 male currently serving MPs who were a member of parliament for an English seat in the late 1980s... "She said: "I would know that face anywhere. I have lived with it and others in my head for over 20 years, I know every inch of him." Though that would narrow the search, I'm saying TMI. SC (PS article only says the politician from 'the current era' not sure we can interpret that as a sitting politician)

McNeil Robinson II, a performer, conductor, and composer of both Christian and Jewish service music, died May 9. Obit says he was a master of improvisation; played music of all eras, and among his compositions wrote hymnals. Could have put him in Christian music or Minimalists, but I'm taking advantage of rare opportunity to add to this thread. SC http://www.mcneilrobinson.com/biography/

That would be trending. And it's not. As stated, bollocks. SC

He's died. 51. http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/manitoba/former-cbc-comedy-writer-mike-o-brien-51-dies-of-cancer-1.3086979 Tried to chase down any link to this guy's work to use his name as a trade off for my roster should he make it to June 15. Found a writer for SNL with same name but not him. Frankly, this guy seemed quite the nobody, eh? SC
