Though my mother recently died of essentially Alzheimer's, it was a previously unknown and incredibly fast growing kidney cancer that helped put her down inside of about 2 weeks from discovery. When she was under 'pain management it was four days. She was 12 years older than the good Cardinal but I'd be shocked he survived beyond two weeks from hospital readmittance, which was last week. I think Easter Sunday a fitting end. SC -
Rant vs Doug Stanhope death pool BS aside---(they won't recognize university Presidents as 'celebrity' enough)--- the next two who should perish are the former Presidents of Towson State Univ and Creighton University. Both have been given the 'months to live' speech from their prospective physicians. SC

Never heard of Betty Churcher? John Howard had a heart scare the other day: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-02-28/john-howard-recovering-after-heart-scare/6270936 Nope, never heard of her and have been in Oz for 33 years. You will be hearing a lot about her over the next 48 hours as she has just died: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-03-31/former-national-gallery-australia-director-betty-churcher-dies/6318888 RIP. Some people are just dying to be popular, and in Ms Churcher's case, it won't help. SC

Mathematically I figured it was a year early on Daisy, but played the percentages (he had a 27% chance of surviving I had a 73% he wouldn't), but this is disheartening. I knew I shoulda waited a year Dammitall. SirC

His type of cancer is quite aggressive and giving him much more than 24 months post-diagnosis regardless would be substantial. If inoperable though, we've only 9 months to 2016. It could be close but I think he could scoot into next years DL, in which case he should be a top 5 pick. Granted I don't expect the committee to bother reading our posts for information... Sir C

I may not be the most morbid person here (or maybe so), but I was hoping for a little more from that video than I got, particularly as pertains to a sectator [sic] being killed. Isn't that Youtub's job, to do the rubber-necking for us? SirC
