You'll notice he is on my Cancel My Appointments team! He was actually my 20th selection, as I took it upon Joe Cocker's late 2014 passing that his guitar player would come join him in a synchronistic effort. At least that was my basis. Sir C

    Ideas And Possibilities For 2016

Good spot, on this evidence: Dr. Reed said she had been preparing herself for the prospect of metastatic cancer and felt somewhat fortunate that the new tumor was removed completely. She will now undergo radiation. She said she and her husband, cardiothoracic surgeon Hooman Noorchashm, also plan to begin working in the lab to see how she might live with the disease as a chronic illness. Both have doctorate degrees in immunology. I'd say she's going to snag lots of coverage and may well be with us on 1 January next year. Hmmm...deffo Deathrace counting points, if and when. DDP? In terms of obitability in the UK, probably about as high as Lauren Hill. The Wall Street Journal USA will definitely cover her death because they're on the case, but the european edition? There's also the chance that the case might receive more attention until she dies.Edit: Though I see now that the WSJ Europe is not an acceptable source for the DDP. Which makes it a bit more of a gamble. 1. Not sure your DDP rules but between The Guardian and Rueters there isn't anyone's death going unnoticed. Aren't they acceptable sources? 2. This doctor provides a conundrum. As many DPs say you can't include anyone who is famous simply cuz they're sick (Lauren Hill e.g. Is unacceptable), I think that excludes the learned doctor. Wouldn't have ever heard of her but for her cancer. I know it's nothing to do with the leagues here on DL, just elsewhere. SC

"1,815 Topics" No on else has an issue with that? Do you have that much clutter in your real lives? Archive all that shit. Yes, admin, it'll take you an entire day of your life, but you've yourself to blame for letting it go for 15 years or more. Get a fourth master list call it Archives and pile 1600 of those topics in it. Good Day Sir Creep

    Wrestlers/actors

Hahaha..... that's rich. BTW you may want to investigate how that PM function works instead of mucking up a perfectly good thread with superfluous noise. No one else wants to see all that. Lastly, your complaint was that it 'wasn't wrestling related', now once that's shot down your target has moved and you complain that it's 'tenuous'. Could be your just jealous you didn't find the link. Or are a horse's arse. Anyway, I'll take my own advice, I'm done posting OT nonsense here. Message me if you need to Dr. Z. SC

Indeed! It's a picture with a "John Blaine" who has also written something related on his facebook page:https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10153157465388781 Either it's really the end or Simon is thinking about stopping the treatment or even assisted suicide. From Cleric To Relic

DEFI ITELY a guy to keep an eye on for 2016....Archbishop Daniel Buechlein from Indiana (78) has what's termed a minor stroke, in hospital a couple days. No biggie. But look at this: "Archbishop Buechlein...has suffered a series of health problems...In 2008, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma and underwent several weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The treatments were successful and he is cancer free. In 2009, Archbishop Buechlein had shoulder replacement surgery and in 2010 he had surgery to remove a benign tumor from his stomach." He's been away from the hospital too long. I foresee a series of setbacks. The perfect DP sleeper pick. SC http://www.cdop.org/post/PostArticle.aspx?ID=1971

    The Chequered Flag

Every time I see someone has posted something new here I think "now THIS is the Jules Bianchi death finally being announced" only to be disappointed again and again. I almost backed off his name due to concerns his family might keep France's National Vegetable alive for no reason. Shoulda followed those instincts. SCreep
