A man is dead after a tiger attack (3 tigers actually) at a zoo in east China. Oh by golly, there's a video! SC Here's a 3-minute version.

A woman I worked with her parents died within minutes of each other. Both on their respective deathbeds the mum kept asking if the dad was dead yet. When her family finally said yes he was gone she died. She apparently said that she was going to outlive the rotten cheating bastard. Mission accomplished Mrs C. I don't exactly see where threads were 'merged' and prefer that RadGuy's idea for a separate thread had taken hold. Alas..... Randy Kitson passed away March 4. Daughter Rose Collins says it may have been a stroke that caused his sudden death, but doctors aren't certain. "We are not even sure what happened, because all of the heart scans looked good." Just hours after his passing, the health of Randy's wife of nearly 13 years, Judith Kitson, became Collins' priority. On Sunday, just 44 hours after her husband Randy's death, Judith passed away. Judith was fighting cancer in her bones and lungs. Her diagnosis was almost one year ago. Collins says in recent weeks her mother's health was strong and stable. SC I'm not letting go of this idea. RadGuy should be more vocal about this being a thread. A Long Island, New York couple married for 70 years died just hours apart at their assisted living residence. William Bauer and his 92-year-old wife Ruth went to bed Monday night, but Ruth never woke up. The couple, and longtime New Hyde Park residents, had been married 70 years. About 11 hours later William died. He was 97. SC

WTF? You always get all warm in the crotch over tepid news about a person in DP? Big Fn deal, if he's only JUST NOW going on oxygen then he ain't going anywhere in 2017; and I say that with him on two of my teams. February? Sure.... 2019. I can list half a dozen ALS sufferers who have lived with a trache tube breathing for them for years. OJ Brigance and Steve Gleason off the top of my tiny brain. February. Pfffft. SC

Sounds like we may be moving this to the Suicidal Celebs post. Yeah he was one of those big bodies that do ok in college muscling opponents around but don't have honest basketball skills to excel at the next level. Dime a dozen. SC -
Wow....had no idea she was even alive. Or anyone from Perry Mason show for that matter. Guess I can carry on living under that assumption again. SC

"the 1977 Innsbruck Winter Olympics" No such event in history. All you had to do was correct it by saying it was 1976 not 1977, you twat. I dunno. I think the twatiness is funnier. SC

Nothing to do with DP directly, but this man's accomplishments need to be noted. Knoxville police arrested "Super Dave" Martin for the 276th time on Friday during a sweep of aggressive panhandlers that removed nine people from busy street corners and along interstate exit ramps. David Eugene Martin, 39, who lists a Badgett Avenue address, calls himself "Super Dave" and that moniker is well-known among the officers of the Knoxville Police Department. His antics have included urinating in front of customers and children in a business parking lot, passing out partially in a downtown street and sidewalk, entering vehicles of customers at drive-thru windows and refusing to exit and lying down in the parking lot of a fast food business to block traffic in order to solicit money, according to records. I posted about 8 hours prior in Old Folkies. I guess the third and fourth words of your posts didn't tip you off. SC

... Surgal is survived by his wife..... (The couple had recently celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary). Brings to mind the classic Alan King bit.

Yes I gave it an ear and I suspected it had the clout of Macarena over here in the States. SC

I don't mind folk music, it's fine by me in smaller doses. But I could name all the folk bands I know on one hand. The Roches was one of them....a friend turned me into them about 1991. So this sucks. RIP Maggie Roche, the folk-rock singer-songwriter who since the mid-1970s had performed and recorded as a trio and in pairs with her two sisters, has died. Roche died of cancer, according to a statement posted online Saturday by her sister and bandmate Suzzy Roche. She was 65. Most notable quote: "This is not my first ride at the cancer rodeo, and without the provisions of the ACA (such as prohibiting the denial of coverage for pre-existing conditions and outlawing yearly and lifetime caps) I would’ve had a very difficult time getting the treatment I needed. I can literally say that Obamacare has saved my life twice (so far….)!" With all that, this is 2018 gold---if she makes it. SC

Can say I've never heard of the song or band or singer, and maybe that's for the best; however this clearly says she was murdered. SC http://m.hindustantimes.com/music/loalwa-braz-singer-of-international-hit-la-lambada-found-murdered/story-niA7pgcsv0btFwCZqHLQjN.html
