He was the second Arab and the first Syrian citizen to travel to space.

You are certainly aware that every link for archival DDP teams takes you to the 2024 list of team names.

8 April 2024 (Monday) Path of Totality.
We are about 70 miles north of Toledo, Ohio, which will have 00:01:20 of total darkness. I would go but the traffic will be unbearable, and clouds are forecasted across much of the path (most of Texas and Ohio that I researched at least), which is sad. Anyway, we get 98% here whatever that means. Sir Creep works outside and relies on the sun, so probably work a half day lolSC

I just didn’t buy what was being sold here on DL; none of his pals made it sound as dire. My loss.

Both of my subs were used late last night. My joker, Sheriff Lacy Rogers, jumped the starting gun and I fell victim to one of those news bots which provided a seemingly contemporaneous account of Nicholas Lloyd Webber's critical ill health.
I turned mine in a couple hours to spare, like we do. Didn’t have a clue my ringer had died; and I only threw Irving’s name as my sub bc I figured you would launch him yet again though I’m certain he’s fine and a liar, but I could eliminate one of your picks should the unfortunate occur, which it did. Same reason I made Harrell my joker (I knew you would) and why I listed Jimmy Carter (don’t wanna get caught w pants down should he actually die). I did my best to make this a 6-on-6 match or so, and to that extent I’m ok with my lineup. But they’ll either all be dead or ok by March 4th.- 1

He was perhaps most famous for abruptly retiring mid-game in 2018. Sort of a proto-Antonio Brown.
Great player, you gotta wonder why he killed himself; no outlet for his energy or anger. Imagine slamming into opponents for 20 years and then sitting in a recliner. CTE study in 5, 4, 3, 2…

The great Chris Cross from Ultravox should be mentioned here, and now he is. A bassist himself, Sir Creep always considered Chris a hack who played through a series of pedals. That is until (*caution: name drop coming) he conversed with Midge Ure directly and was told no, in fact every note you hear is played by Mr Cross. At that moment SirC had new respect for him. Ultravox has always been one of his favourite listens.
SirC never got to see Ultravox, due to cancellations more than anything else. Sadly, this is the ultimate cancellation.
RIP

He’s a fraud. Saw the announcement hours before turning in my Cup team and STILL left him off. All the criminals are frauds.

I haven’t gotten through all the names, but just who are Mike Gunther, Sujata, and David R Rosen? Google isn’t my friend (at least I see no one with a health concern). Thanks in advance.

The pimpled obese friendless member dwelling in daddy’s basement strikes again with post-whoring thread reboots. No it ISNT funny. So that makes this list of members stupid cunts. Noted by SirC and made conspicuous for all to see who our most cuntish members are (this list is by no means stagnant):

One thing I do hate about deadpooling is discovering artists like this I could have easily listened to. Usually a rapper dies and I post videos out of laughter. I played this one and thought ‘wow’.RIP ;btw sounds like she had a tough go at the end, waiting for organ transplants).

Idiot
It’s a damn shame this game has been watered down to a pile of shit then. I’ll accept being an idiot who thinks the basic rule when this game began ‘any English language obit’ was all that was needed without kowtowing to utter horseshit. -

How the hell did Dornfeld pass the fame test? (Yes I’m only just looking at the names as I research for April). Honestly, can someone PahLEEEZ run this thing without allowing people who coach a group of 13 year old footballers in Africa, or in this case any one of a thousand college hockey players?

As usual, interesting conversation occurs on my home Deadpool rather than anything here…
—‘Wow, all five original members of the Moody Blues are gone. Pinder was the last of the group's original five members.’
—‘That leaves how many people who have ever seen a mellotron? Fripp is about it.’
—-a song offered to the group by Paul McCartney, but in the end decided the tune wasn’t right for the Moodys. Instead, Mary Hopkin recorded the song, “Those Were the Days,” and scored a worldwide smash hit.’
—“That’s amazing trivia. Can you imagine the path they would have taken if they sang Those Were the Days?”
—‘Check this out... "On Christmas 1969, the President of Equatorial Guinea, Francisco Macías Nguema, had 150 alleged coup plotters executed in the national stadium while the amplifier system played the Mary Hopkin recording of "Those Were the Days"."
—‘Never mind the fact that the litany of hits written by Sir Paul now includes this song. Who knew?’
—‘Death was imperative when he sang his version of Go Now.’
—‘Needless to say they’ll likely be on tour next summer.’
Deathlist used to have actual conversations like this but those days are long gone. RIP to Deathlist.
