Thank gawd! I think 4 hits during the game for me is my highest strike rate. What on earth will the new categories be?

And Bang, my current first sub on my poker team is gone! Think I have him elsewhere. While this is awful news for us fans devoted or passing of Who, we must remember he had a pretty good film resume as well. RIP Chesterfield. (Little Hartnell reference ).

Now Ed Davey is doing board games! Next stop I'm sure will be playground, where he sits on a swing to show the swing to the Lib Dems! I love how they are having a whale of a time and still managing to get their message across.

Young woman named Kelis arrested. Apparently her milkshake brings all the racists to the pier. (She might not be called Kelis).

Haddock poached in milk. Yum.

Brother Marquis seems to most famous here for appearing on the album version of 99 Problems, not even the single version. 2 Live Crew have one UK single chart hit which peaked at #90 - yet UK obits everywhere. I just don't understand anymore.

I think a lot of people told him to stand. Of course, those were the voices in his head saying "Nige, you could actually win a seat, the Tories are in wipeout mode". It is simply self-advancement, self interest. A man who blames absolutely every ill the UK is suffering on immigration. Unfortunately, he has been handed that platform by a Government who has let it get out of control, but it is a ridiculous one issue party. First it was the EU, then Brexit wasn't done properly, now this. He's simply the National Front/BNP representative of today. As bad as Galloway. Forget the other issues about GB News etc, that is the real story here.

Rees-Mogg projected to lose?

Various reports that Asma Al-Assad has died. Trying to find a comfortable source. Edit: looks like FB bollocks. But hey. Happens.

Go to love the Lib Dems, shortly after they appeared behind Sunak, he scattered with his minders.

Think my highest place was back in 2018 - 58th. But I've always been a bit rubbish at this. I'm not the competitive type, never mind spending my Christmas searching for pancreatic cancer sufferers or stroke victims. That's not to say I'm not interested though. Happy where I am in the running. I'm more concerned about my theme teams - nothing so far on those, which even I'm surprised at!
-
I've never had to worry about 14th place, tbh. Just under 7 months to go though - a pipe dream that I may climb the table to such dizzy heights!

Shadow Defence Secretary John Healey had better learn how to say "adversaries" before the next Government, if it is Labour. Tripped over it twice. Shades of George Bush Jnr when he couldn't say "nuclear".

Ok, so I have received 3 entries so far - the early player catches the worm, as they say. I have entrusted Bibliogryphon with my team - the rest of you will have to wait! I have no doubt you are waiting to see how most of June goes, then there will be a flurry of entries towards the end of the month. Late nights at the manager's desk poring over Vietnamese politicians and Rwanda genocidaires I expect!

Been thinking about doing a parody of the last 5 years to the tune of We Didn't Start The Fire by Billy Joel, but it seems like a lot of work, ha!

Meantime it is being reported in big headlines that the Tories will define your sex as biological gender and enshrine that in law. (Makes it sound like soap powder). Anyhow, I'm not sure what that has to do with the cost of living, the NHS, bringing energy bills down, reducing inflation and interest rates, increasing teachers, defending the country, reducing legal and illegal migration, reducing the backlog of asylum seekers' claims, filling your potholes or even making the trains run on time. But I'm sure that's what the great British public want to discuss. Man's a fucking lunatic.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis

All my straight friends loved going to Pride. One of them even managed to pull a person of the opposite gender, thus leading them to leave early. I, on the other hand, have never pulled at Pride. Had fun though, and even worked a couple of events. -
No idea. I'm guessing a hart being a deer and an ester being some kind of compound?

I have amended my team regarding the loss of Rob Burrow. My first sub slides into play, and I have added a new 5th sub to the team.
