Oh the misery, the wailing as Rutherford and Ennis Hill win medals but they are not gold. So commentary goes into grieving mode.

Is Piet de Jong not carried over? Nah, already in the List of the Lost. Not looking like he'll be added yet...

Some frankly bizzare choices in there youngwillz. Only chose them for the "witty" line which could follow them.

Peter Bull, guesthouse owner who said "no room at the inn" to a gay couple and lost in the Supreme Court, has died. http://www.christian.org.uk/news/thanksgiving-service-for-peter-bull-1939-2016/ Guess he will now know whether his reliance on the Old Testament was right or not.

Who is the sexiest Olympian at Rio 2016? Would you go the distance with Mo Farah? Does David Florence paddle your canoe? Is Jessica Ennis Hill a 7 out of 7? Would you give Charlotte Dujardin a dressage down? Yes, the lack of major deaths has come to this...

Maybe so, but you can bet your last copper coin the new duke won't pay a penny in inheritance tax. Guardian has a good article: https://www.theguardian.com/money/2016/aug/11/inheritance-tax-why-the-new-duke-of-westminster-will-not-pay-billions Isn't our country great? They called the now deceased Duke the third richest man in the UK. Then as usual we find he had his money and property in trusts and companies so all of that technically didn't belong to him personally at all. At least some taxes continue to be paid on an ongoing basis...but the rules are such for those who have privilege and accountants, and those who don't.
