Earl Solomon Burroughs, aka Jack Hammer, has reportedly died at the age of 90. http://www.soul-source.co.uk/articles/soul-artists-sad-news/jack-hammer-rip-r3323/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Wrote the original Great Balls Of Fire, however that song didn't make it except for the title - though Hammer split the royalties by agreement. He also performed with The Platters for a while. Boogie Woogie Twist: https://youtu.be/yvHuIVmtnac Down In The Subway: https://youtu.be/gkiOEHVLLXg

Ruth Prideaux who played for England's Women has died. http://www.espncricinfo.com/women/content/story/996779.html She is survived by her husband Roger, who is a DDP pick for this year. -
Report here of the death at 93 of Arthur Anderson, voice of Lucky The Leprechaun for Lucky Charms cereal, on 9 April. http://monsterkidclassichorrorforum.yuku.com/topic/63148/Arthur-Anderson-Mercury-Player#.VwvGiOT2bNM Given the theme of the DDP team that picked him, I'm adding him into the round up as I'm assuming that's the guy.

Daily Mail for Hoferlin: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/reuters/article-3529692/Belgian-coach-Hoferlin-dies-49--public-broadcaster.html Admittedly it's only his surname in the title, though.

The Fringes Of Fame/family Of The Famous

Douglas not mentioned anywhere in that obit. I'm not wrong, it's definitely her...look up The Peerage Page on her, the Sunday Express article where she comments on her son Dominick, etc etc. Don't get all defensive. First, if you've posted something that doesn't buttress the point being proferred, you've presented incompetent evidence. Sounds like it's the Peerage Page that you needed to link to then. The onus isn't on anyone else to go 'look up' anything. As for an article that talks about her discussing her son, again If it doesn't mention her FATHER it fails to make your point and the only reason she would be posted in this thread. I've no fucking idea who Douglas Fairbanks GRANDCHILDREN are. Now before you respond Y-Dub, re-read my first four words. SC Willz, you appear to have picked a fight with William Regal. Hey, I'm not bothered/being defensive at all. I like the idea of making people work further for their information. You learn more by looking up the wonderful wide web about people whose deaths are reported here, I find. It's a death notice for Douglas Fairbanks Jr's eldest daughter. Go find out more about him, his family, his amazing heritage and what the folks are up to these days. I find that much more interesting: it's not for everyone, I'll readily admit. -
Well despite the above little nugget, I can't see that anyone picked her for the DDP. Her suffering is over, RIP.

Phew, just checked and I didn't have Howard Marks on my team for this.

I'll go for Johnny Beattie (90 this year) formerly of River City. Just because he's on my Hartlepool Deadlypool. Comic, panto star, etc etc. -
Awful news Shaun, my thoughts are with you and my sincerest condolences to you and yours.

I'm a bit dizzy from a few pints from my pal's engagement party. Forgive me if I do a little catching up, although nobody of DDP worthiness has died in the several hours I've been out. Sadly, I remain single...happily, I remain single...

I'll probably have a go, though I'll wait until nearer the commencement date. The way the Reaper is scything through the famous and not so famous at the moment gives me pause.
