Demjanjuk gambit, anyone? As stated earlier, I now believe nearly all those who are incarcerated and have 'terminal illnesses' are full of hyperbole, poi, and bullshit. I've left them off my teams and believe you've all been suckered in by people like Howard Marks and Lynne Stewart (and a couple others no need to mention). So if we have another candidate here, I've made my pre-determination on the merit of his claim. If Howard Marks dies this year of the affliction complained of, I'll buy each of you a Curly-Wulry candy bar. Joe Medicine Crow dies at 102. http://billingsgazette.com/news/local/joe-medicine-crow-dies-in-billings-sunday-morning/article_4463195c-d8c2-5a36-ae68-bf86f99b5d52.html Pretty sure he's a DDP pick. Chopped Liver can strike him from his list of possibilities for next year.

Same race, same boat. On sky & BBC. To be buried at sea. Could have saved an hour looking for the body. -
He was one of the most well regarded character actors of his generation. He'll get the Telegraph and Guardian obits before too long. Well, the Daily Mail will have to do: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/wires/pa/article-3519653/Sherlock-Holmes-actor-Douglas-Wilmer-dies-aged-96.html Edit: Or indeed the BBC who are late to the party: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-35948427

Question is, will he go to Ronnie Corbett's funeral? Should he survive the week, I mean...

On my Rotten deadpool. One of the original BBC Sherlock Holmes too, before Peter Cushing took over the role in the mid 60s. My first Sherlock Holmes! Didn't know he was still alive, and am very surprised he's listed in the RDP. Just to round this off, Express Obit: http://www.express.co.uk/showbiz/tv-radio/657222/Sherlock-Holmes-actor-Douglas-Wilmer-dies-aged-96-Mark-Gatiss-leads-tributes

Gosh Toast, my condolences. There is a multitude of affection for him from Doctor Who fans. I'm glad to hear he was as much loved in the real world. Peace, YW.

Pete Townsend ? He played the bass As I understand it, he wasn't a formal member of the band. Call him a session musician for this. Anyway, Townshend will be dead by the year's end, if my list has anything to do with it.

Sounding sharp and cogent and fabulous as ever in his tribute to Ronnie Corbett. Hoping he's about for another ten years at least! -
One good thing...Rob Brydon's career may now be over...
