DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
YoungWillz replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Ouch! Get better soon. I keep reading about cars "rolling" in the US, but I've honestly never heard of this happening elsewhere, especially in the UK. Why does this seem to be a uniquely US thing? -
Looks like Raul Cardenas has died at 87: https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.futbolsapiens.com%2Factualidad%2Fnacional%2Ffallecio-raul-cardenas-a-los-87-anos%2F&edit-text= A player in 1954, 1958 and 1962 as well.

Well this one passed me by completely! Adrienne Corri, who played Mena in Doctor Who's The Leisure Hive, has died on 13 March aged 85. http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/opinion/obituaries/article4721727.ece On TV, had roles in The Champions and Adam Adamant Lives! In film, best known as Mrs Alexander in A Clockwork Orange, but was also in Quo Vadis (uncredited) and Doctor Zhivago. In the DDP too, a unique hit.

Edit: However, it's to be noted that his gravestone says he died on 27 December 2015 - pic here: http://extratv.com/2016/03/24/country-singer-craig-stricklands-cause-of-death-revealed/ Let the can of worms run free...

My fourth Deathrace hit - now over halfway to the total. I'll get there. Puts the Crowdsourced List ahead for the first time?

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
YoungWillz replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Look, for example the banter I may have with say, Cat, might be a little fruitier than the banter I may have with say, Morbidkid. All I'm saying is it is easy to get caught up in the conversation without catching who that conversation is with - many's the post I've had ready (comedy gold in my opinion) and had to stop myself because I realised that perhaps it's not really for one or more of those involved in the discourse (note I didn't use the word intercourse, for that would be wrong and a little too fruity anyway, but I really wanted to put that in...no pun intended... or maybe it was). Anyway, I've probably posted some things inappropriately too, nobody's perfect. Agreed we can't be oversensitive about these things, but we are kind of aware of the personalities on here and before we punch that post button, perhaps decide whether to post it, turn it down a little or indeed ramp it up. For me, it's back to deathsearching. -
Ironically, he was pro-life.

It was a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Disappointed that this "joke" has resulted in the loss of a good member of this site. Perhaps sometimes people should hesitate before posting something "hilarious", taking into account the kind of person who is posting, by dint of the nature of their posting history. I appreciate in advance I will be shot down with the usual "it's an internet forum, take what you're given" angle, however maybe the line can more easily be drawn with some than with others. I hope that RC will return after some time out, I seriously do. -
Rita Gam, actress famous for roles in King of Kings and Klute, dies at 88. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/rita-gam-dead-glamorous-actress-877486 Sidney Lumet's first wife as well.

Maybe while we have the dead tag out for Rob Ford, we could tag Paul Daniels too before he disappears into to page 10 of the forum. Cheers.
-
I knew I'd put Rob Ford far too high on my list, but it was a tough choice - still lots of year to go...dang!

Who was it? -
Clint Walker and Ty Hardin are the names I recognise. I can remember some of these programmes being on, but was not of an age to be watching them. Report of the death of Robert Horton: http://www.examiner.com/article/movie-tv-and-stage-actor-robert-horton-has-died And muse no longer, Predictor - here is Robert Horton's Telegraph obit: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/obituaries/celebrity-obituaries/12199495/Robert-Horton-actor-obituary.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

His death has been edited out after the time of my post above. I'd say always forget the summary on google and check the page itself. Resurrection...confirmed. -
