I'll say a fair list, nothing exceptionally surprising. Well done Committee and bon chance!
-
I'm confused. Why is this currently in the Forum area rather than 2016 Names?
-
Right Listers, I'm just about to grab a cab to my NYE party. Have a wonderful New Year's Eve/Day and to those who have already celebrated, hope it's a good one already. See yas in 2016, my lovelies!
-
Thanks guys. I've decided I may be coming home from the party later rather than a stopover as planned, so I'll leave it for now. I hope TMIB has got them and that he enjoys his NYE away from the email inbox!

EFA. We all need a bit of Hong Kong Phooey, right? My favourite cartoon as a boy!
-
Happy New Year to Australia, New Zealand and Hong Kong!

Is it bad form to post up my teams before 2016? They were emailed over to the DDP email around the 21st December. I'd like to get the post up so I don't have to think about it during recovery period from NYE. Tbh, on 2015 form, people should avoid my picks rather than steal them!

If we are going to see this all 2016, can someone change "Possibiltes" to "Possibilties" please? Thanks in advance.
-
Hopefully mine isn't the only entry.
-
Good luck everybody and thanks to MPFC for running this.

Jason Wingreen(?): http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=5140&p=246412 Awaiting obit.

Hmm.. very good. Reading that made me forget that the guy who played Dengar the Bounty Hunter had also gone. Didn't know the Mos Eisley bartender in A New Hope was dead though. I suppose when you look at the sheer amount of names there, and the numbers that are yellow (dead) compared to red (alive), then they haven't done badly, but three of the movies are very recent, and a large amount of the older films had younger actors, I suppose. One to watch then I would say is:- Jason Wingreen, voice of Boba Fett, 88 later this year & frequent film & TV actor. He should get some mention state-wise when he goes, which means the Guardian will pick it up & hey presto, UK Obit! Reportedly, Jason Wingreen died on Christmas Day at the age of 95. https://twitter.com/RozHWolfe/status/680957085308174339 and https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=560935294070201&id=142318689265199 Obviously awaiting a news story to confirm, but I do think Roz Wolfe's confirmation is sufficient. Also better known Stateside for the Harry Snowden role in All In The Family and Archie Bunker's Place. He was recently mentioned in despatches on the Yank SciFi thread as being in The Twilight Zone. He had many other roles over the years. Edit: On the DDP for 2015, so obviously now awaiting that UK obit promised by OoO.

Just watched him taken in for a court hearing on BBC News. He tripped, but doesn't seem unwell. Of course, that may change with the stress of proceedings against him...

Cancer mum Monique Atkins listed in the DDP apparently died in November 2015. http://monique.atkins.muchloved.com/frame.aspx?df=false and https://twitter.com/steveatkins1969/status/660167025831108608 Can't find a qualifying obit.
