Updated to include centenarian French actress Renée Simonot (Catherine Deneuve's Mum), Elena Lucena and Lukas Ammann. Dora Doll has died at the age of 93. https://translate.google.co.uk/translate?sl=auto&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=en&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lefigaro.fr%2Fflash-actu%2F2015%2F11%2F16%2F97001-20151116FILWWW00360-la-comedienne-dora-doll-est-decedee.php&edit-text= According to the article, she died 15 November, though Wiki currently has her dying in February? Eek, I prefer the article. Edit: Don't forget that Elena Lucena is also dead. Just if you are updating, like. -

so it was the eve of destruction for your family's ears? Hey MBK. I'm a gifted amateur he he. Good comeback though. I think Eve of Destruction is still quite an apt song, given the words over on the Terrorist thread at the mo.

I think Pearl Carr has just had a birthday. Here's a Guardian article that mentions a show broadcast containing a tribute marking Teddy Johnson's 95th birthday last year. Safe to say I think they are both still alive if we haven't heard differently. http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2014/sep/13/david-hepworth-radio-review

"Sir Terry had been due to host the TV event alongside Tess Daly, Rochelle Humes, Nick Grimshaw and Fearne Cotton." Dear God, I'd have pulled out the minute I saw who my co-hosts were - talentless buffoons!

Political Discussions And Ranting Thread
YoungWillz replied to Deathray's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
And now we are entertaining Modi from India (also having a meal with Her Majesty). Modi's record on human rights is hardly spectacular - see tuppence rant above. And here's the story from the Mail (sorry to quote, but it's pertinent) about the money that the UK gives and is giving to India (btw, one of the top fastest growing world economies in the world) in international development aid, despite promising to cease it by this year. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2947400/Lunar-cy-India-gets-cash-British-aid-send-250million-rocket-moon.html Meanwhile we are trotting out celebrities for Children In Need so the British public can put their collective hands in their pocket to support kids in poverty in the UK. Lovely. Edit: India would also be richer if it actually collected all the taxes due and tackled local corruption. Today the UK announced a closure plan for HMRC offices who could also tackle non-payment of taxes here. -

Hey coming into the time of the season for making your lists and checking them twice. So I've completed drafts of 2 of my allowed 3 DDP teams (I think I'll be allowed 3?). Just obviously awaiting the new rules etc. It's harder than I thought (ooh, matron, ding dong!). -
^^ Cheers DDT! I'll never keep up! I'd completely forgotten about Franny Schwartz for example, not necessarily in the context of appearing on a recording, but for breaking up McCartney and Asher. This thread will run for a while by the looks of it!

Andy White, the session drummer who played on early Beatles' tracks, has died at 85. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-34785987 Edit: Dang, simultaneous with VT! Edit 2: Looks like Jimmie Nicol is still on the go according to Wiki, but he's much younger (76). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jimmie_Nicol Can't think off the top of my head any other musicians who appeared with The Beatles from their first album up to the split who are still alive.
