I'll object too. Been thinking long and hard (oo-er, missus) but the only reason I didn't enter was the relatively short run and I wanted to participate in a full year event). Whilst I think the idea of a competition which doesn't necessarily run from January to December is a good one, this should have been flagged up as a possibility before entries closed for this one. I still say Shaun's Pool is a great idea. Perhaps it could be solved that the competition starts in January and you are allowed to replace up to 10 entries by June 30th (not including your dead entries of course!) for the rest of the year.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
YoungWillz replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Every one is special...I'm amazed I've lasted this long! -
Nasty little post. "Happy birthday" would have been sufficient. Yeah, I guess, RadGuy's prognosis is probably right (his chances of surviving for another year are pretty slim), and Martin should know that as well, but since he's not a bad person (like Mugabe or Ian Brady) there's nothing to celebrate about the fact that this is (likely) his last birthday. He shares my birthday. Ultimately, he shares a fate for us both. When this thread is long gone, I'll probably still remember him in my first DL year because of this, even though I abhor his sport and know nothing of his history. Have a good one Martin.

Hmm with those ailments he could remix half of Rolf Harris' back catalogue without Rolf having to leave his cell.

DL Status Updates: Statements, Obsevations & Verbal Tennis
YoungWillz replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
It's my birthday week so I'll try and drop in as much as I can. It's already kicked off with a day out today with my besties, I'll probably trawl the bars for availables tomorrow (my birfday, never happens for me) and spend the rest of the week out and about somehow. Just a tad tipsy already. -
Death Notice for Alex Monchak, oldest living Philadelphia Phillies player at 98. http://obits.dignitymemorial.com/dignity-memorial/obituary.aspx?n=Alex-Monchak&lc=4474&pid=175836554&mid=6595027 He's in the DDP, but as the news doesn't even seem to have made the news in the USA yet, obit chances are questionable.

YoungWillz must be really pissed off this week. I agree ha ha, especially as I specifically name-checked chiesa52 in my post in minimalists! You DID???? LOL Of course I did. You put old Mr Willcocks as a suggestion in a now locked thread, I checked but I'm useless at cross-quoting across different threads so I mentioned your earlier suggestion. http://www.deathlist.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=7118&p=237116
