Why the fuck has he got a thread? zero illness. Ever. That's it, I'm convinced some of you are glory whores, I'm starting totally random personal threads for no reason other than I can. SC Hmmm, I had nothing to do with opening the thread, but the originating post seems quite clear of the intent. He's been down and almost out a few times, but he's got back - a real American story of redoubtability. If he's got a thread, let's use it imo. Oh, and if he dies in prison from an anal haemorrhage or strings himself up, we'll have a place to put the report. Every second of life is a blessing, but it's one second away from being snuffed out. Edit: Plenty of candidates for actual threads, Joni Mitchell and Norman Greenbaum spring instantly to mind, but I'm sure there are others twitching on the edge.

I got beat up for posting a questionable Aussie educator, I have to say this person also sounds like a complete no one. I too was guilty I guess. SC I just finished watching the film (Morgan Freeman looks soooo young!) . This woman was amazing, she was offered Secretary of State For Education by Reagan (which she declined), preferring to remain a teacher. Her wiki page doesn't seem to do her justice, and that page is pretty fucking complimentary. Edit: One of your countrypersons of whom the USA can be immensely proud, I'd say. Respect.

Hmmm, anyone interested in linking deaths (not looking at anyone in particular) - Patrick Macnee was in The Howling; Rick Ducommun who also died this month was in The 'burbs - both directed by Joe Dante!!!!!

With Macnee's death, 25 June is quite a day historically for famous deaths. Congrats to all those who make it to midnight!

My post from David Sillito confirms, and it has just been announced live on BBC News Channel. I'm afraid the hoax report is a hoax, we've lost him. And I'm still upset.

Nobody picked Macnee, I'm rather happy about that.

He's dead. http://www.patrickmacnee.com/ Edit: Bloody tragedy, he had a long life, but a true star in every sense of the word. UK has lost one of its greats again. I'm upset by this one.
