Delta Goodrem collapses on stage at The Voice - maybe a sign of illness returning, or just a fainting fit? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2985690/Delta-Goodrem-passes-set-filming-Voice-blind-auditions-having-trouble-breathing.html

Wiki quotes the Equity Magazine Spring 2015 (no internet link) for Derek Deadman and Stanley Lebor was supposed to be mentioned in the same article, but Wiki doesn't have him dead. All we need is a luvvie with a scanner to post the page, I guess.

Well I see it has already received some rave reviews in the British press. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/tvandradio/eurovision/11457228/Eurovision-2015-Electro-Velvet-will-ensure-we-dont-win.html But staying on topic, it's worth noting that the female part of the duo, Bianca (26) is living with cystic fibrosis, an incurable, hereditary disease that reduces lifespans by 20+ years with large variance. Some people with the condition may die in their twenties (albeit this is now rare), so she could make a weak but potentially lucrative DDP candidate (low likelihood of dying, but many points if she dies). On a related note, the Finnish contestants are middle aged punk rockers "with learning disabilities". One of them looks as if he had a hereditary genetic defect. Of course, even IF... an obit in the UK would be in doubt. http://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2015/feb/27/finnish-punk-band-take-punt-eurovision-title Is there any Deathlist potential behind the sudden withdrawal of the winner of the German preliminary competition? I was wondering about that, poor lad going from Voice of Germany 2013 to Ideas and Possibilities for 2016.

Your Least Impressive Celebrity Encounters

Just in response to maryportfuncity and Phantom, I agree with you both. Beadle might be remembered by the vast majority as a bit of a TV third rater, but he was incredibly intelligent, his curiosity about life made it all the more sad when he departed. Same with Danny Baker (very much alive), if I was as smart as he is I'd be a w*nker too if asked to interview folks on make up tips. I guess until we start giving TV a bit more respect and placing our celebs more accurately with their talent, we shall denude them of proper heartfelt thanks for their talent (too many so called celebs now have neither talent or ability and grace our screens for no other reason than being in the right place/family/religion/class bracket etc.). Some of the folks on Gogglebox have more talent than some who may appear on obituaries of the famous. And I don't mean to degrade those on Gogglebox, btw, there's genuine talent there. -
I've gone for Mugabe, if you have a much loved celebrity go first, should be a complete tool next.

Decided to go out today for the first time in ages and got the news about half way through the evening. Some one trick ponies are worthy of being just that. Mr Nimoy, I salute your contribution to popular culture and to be known across generations. Few achieve the ability to be discovered again and again by new fans who may not have even been born yet. Your legacy will live long and prosper and I am glad my life has overlapped yours. RIP Leonard, you were much admired and loved.

Your Least Impressive Celebrity Encounters
YoungWillz replied to Phantom's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Just discovered this thread, so I'll add my list: Met Rikki Fulton whilst getting him to sign a video (yes kids, it was a while ago), most rude and obnoxious person I have had the displeasure to meet. Was on various game shows and met the following: Jeremy Beadle - lovely and genuine. Richard Madeley - huge hands, well once you've shaken with Jeremy, I guess they're all huge. Like grain scoops. He was fun, it was before his morning tv gig with Judy. William G Stewart - yes I was on 15 to 1 too! Paul Coia - quite famous locally, colour blind y'know. Couple of Nolans - lovely girls. Danny Baker - just the same on and off screen, liked him muchly. Paul Ross - nicer than his brother appears to be. Also had outdoor congress with a Scottish comedy actor, who is now passed away (not as a result of said congress), I'll let him rest in peace. Had my photo taken with Mick Foley of WWE, sadly missed William Regal when he was in town last November. -
