Yo theoldlady, isn't it de Havilland and not de Havellen and Chaz Bono, Ozzy not Ozzie, Lansbury not Landsbury, Minnelli has 2 n's...sorry for corrections but I had to point them out.

The other week, I looked at Gigi. As far as I could tell, only Leslie Caron and a handful of extras who were in uncredited roles, still survive. I'd say that the Golden Age of Hollywood will be entirely dead in 20 years maybe. There are few kid stars left and a hand full of "new" stars whose career started in 50's. I wouldn't count 1956 and after as a part of Golden Age, it is but not for those whose career started then. Although they say that only people whose career started before 1950 counts (and a few individuals who had a notable run of success after 1950).

A terrific actress who could do both comedy and pathos. It's not that I have no respect for her, I'm just being honest. I Googled her and I can still say that I never saw her....I don't watch British TV so it's not a surprise. I don't even remember seeing her in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. A terrific actress who could do both comedy and pathos. My son who is 8 was deeply upset. He loved her in Charlie & The Chocolate Factory even though she didn't have much of a role in it. The last time he was this upset was when Alan Rickman died. He always thought I looked like the character of Severus Snape when my hair was longer. Here's a tribute to her https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6CvPgcZCrLo He was upset because it was Snape. I'm 23 and I was upset. I was shaking when I read it and I rarely do that. Maybe you've got a movie guru in the making.

It may be worse with more deaths. Liz 2, Philip, Jimmy Carter, Bush, maybe some Clintons, Yoko, Aretha Franklin, my bet that he's next - Stevie Wonder, maybe some younger pop star, major film actors like Kirk, Sean Connery, maybe even Madonna, Boy George, Cher, remaining Beatles....the list goes on Few of those would upset me much. OK, Donald Trump for you then. -

I wouldn't describe a heart attack as peaceful....Sudden cardiac arrest, heart stops functioning, soon loses consciousness and a little later comes the Reaper. Of course, you could picture something more peaceful, like a 115 y.o. grandma dying of old age (what a lie, old age is not a proper cause of death), but still more peaceful than a mobster gunned down by rival gangs, or an incurable cancer slowly but steadily eating up someone's body. Btw. Wikipedia lists 'AIDS related complications' as the cause of death. Likely just a hoax (since the BBC doesn't have it), but I couldn't rule it out yet. I had deaths in family of a heart attack. Each one was different. The classic with pain and then when the heart just stops, as said by Gabe, people just faint and that's it. Or they die in sleep as there's no one around to give CPR. The most peaceful way to go. It's not a surprise in the way he lived. It's just weird that Iggy Pop is still alive despite similarities in lifestyle. -

I bet it's a heart attack. He looked very chubby (bloated) in his last paparazzi photo. It wasn't so unexpected, he did the same mistakes Whitney did. At least I expected it. I just couldn't see him past 60 but it is a huge shock. RIP to the 80's. 2016 is the proof that evil is real. -
Well, thank you 2016....what the hell is wrong with this year? The irony is that I put him on my 2016 list and switched with Kilmer but decided to switch again with Michael for 2017....guess not. RIP George.

WHAT THE FUCK? -
Lots of people have huge heart attacks and still live normally. Some of them are in their 80's now. At least she'll have material for another autobiography. Now that I haven't lost my hope yet I know she'll die for sure.....it always happens. Maybe not tonight but Xmas seems to be a good day to Die Hard. Cough cough.

Would be fun if mom and daughter drop at the same time. Shame I already sent my DDP picks......
