No no, it won’t affect your three at all. I see where your coming from, but I really doubt that Spade would force every single person to get credit for one of their teams. It’s not like Spade is going to ask me “which individuals have made a contribution to the list?”, that would seem a bit preposterous imo, and if anyone was going to take credit for the team if that were required, it would be me. Tbh, I suspect that you’re just trying to find a way of not submitting to the list which I won’t argue with you about, but if you really think that submitting an entry to this would eliminate one of your three entries, that certainly won’t be the case...

I think it won’t count as one of the three entries for anyone as it has the contributions from many people and I feel it wouldn’t be fair to place the burden on one individual.

So there was something that I thought about doing that I waited to tell you guys about it till I got approval from Spade. I got a thumbs up on it now from him, so the thing that I am going to do is basically have a DDP team ripped off from the top 20 from the Crowdsource list when the time comes. I thought it would be a bit cool to potentially compare this list’s top 20 to the Deathlist’s top 20, and anyone who submits to the list may have a say on which people makes the top 20 and the DDP team I think would be fun. Thoughts?

I swore Dolly Parton had her own thread (or two), but in the meantime, her brother is dead at 61. -
Former Galaxy coach Sigmi Schmid has been hospitalized.

Olivia Newton John said to be "winning" her third battle, but rumors suggest otherwise...

Some bastards (Gerard Tierney and two others) did pick a 16 year old computer scientist a few years back, so no age requirement there...

I tried to ask Spade an important question via PM and it’s full as of right now? Is it possible for you to clear some of your messages? Thanks.

The theme team of Peace, Drugs, and Death have been submitted to the DDP for the second year in a row. Some minor adjustments as Joan Baez, Jane Fonda, and Gloria Steinem replaces Peter Coyote, Todd Gitlin, and Mark Rudd, but otherwise it’s the same as last year. Will be wondering if my theme team will get the big fat 0 for the third time in a row next year...

Okay, I got one. 1. There are technically two very different versions of the song but is also by the same artist 2. The album this song is on is considered a live album 3. One of the lines is on a famous suicide note Looks to be difficult clues, but honestly once you figure out one of the clues, it should be a dead give away...

Well tbf, the song before I Will Survive is Tragedy by The Bee Gees...

I Will Survive by Gloria Gaynor?

Take my advice. Beware of people with funny names. They aren’t likely to help you much in dead pooling. Just look at Spanky Manikan and Colin Butts. They didn’t receive a QO and make Pity Da Foolz’s lead larger. The funny name is a curse...

Well, here’s my song choices for Sir Creep. I’d be interested in which songs you decide to pick:
-
Chief of staff John Kelly is out.
-
Removed at request of owner.
-
Banana has won his first pool now.
-
I waited two days on the off chance someone else has turned out to die earlier, but since that doesn’t appear to be the case, I will now officially congratulate Banana for winning the Advent Avalanche. First post to be edited as soon as I get home...

Hm. Deathrace: Had two hits in total during the game, but sod's law occured when the avalanche of hits happened right after the game ended. Only 12 out of the 20 died so far, thanks partly in picking a joker dud. C+ Hare's Pool: Not doing as well as last year, mid-table obscurity it is. D Hartlepool: I really am not doing well in this one at all. With 0 hits, I think I need to improve my craft here. F Death By Numbers: Meh, am in the top ten, but really had a lot of bad picks there. Still, there's always next year. B- Alt Obits: Ngl, am disappointed that Gerard Tierney jumped ahead of me with that birthday hit. Still, likely top five in my very first year of trying is pretty good. B+ DL Cup: Improved from my performance last year. Made it to round 3, and was able to beat Grim in my rematch against him (even if it was only due to a coin flip). Never really stood a chance against Sir Creep though. A- DDP Teams: Day In The Death: Made an improvement from last year, even if there were still a few things that I needed to learn, like to give up on unnatural gambles and don't let the forum pushing a bad name convince you to pick a bad pick. Despite that, I'm pretty happy with how I'm doing. A The Whipping Posts: My performance here is underwhelming. While I had no intention of this team beating my main one, I still expected more than 1 hit/7 points. D- Peace, Drugs, and Death: Once again, my theme team has a score of 0. I really suck at theme teams. F

This is the dead period for the Crowdsource list submissions, so therefore only one person has submitted a list since the death of George HW Bush. You think that with only one list only minor changes would happen to the list, but that simply isn’t the case, as two names made it up 12 places higher just because of one list. I’m also amazed on how much traction a few names have gotten. This is starting to get interesting...
