I think I got my jokers for both teams now. Both of them are not FFBI fortunately, so very unlikely for a Ben Suisala repeat. The B Team joker is my main they’ll see 2019 punt for next year. Let’s see how well that pays off...

The original intention of the 27 club is for people that are music related. While I think some people have expanded it to entertainers (as I've seen Anton Yelchin on a few 27 club member list), Garner wasn't even an entertainer. I think that might answer your question.

Well, if she made the starting line, it would’ve been a 50/50 chance for me tbh, as there was some optimism of a recovery cause they found brain activity. Of course, she’s now dead, so she won’t be on my team...

Oh, and 9 hours left for the deadline. PS, I jokered someone else cause I didn’t expect her to make me the starting line, but on the off chance that my joker doesn’t make the starting line, she would’ve been my backup joker. How useless that turned out to be.

Any chance of people who think some sources are jumping the gun should quiet down, as her official twitter page now confirms this.

Unsurprisingly, Erica Garner didn’t make the starting line, and that means me and probably others will have to have one their subs to take her place.

It’s deaths like her that really make me really depressed sometimes. They could’ve done so much more in life and fight for a change, but for one reason or another, they don’t have a chance to see that change.

Not surprising, but still extremely sad, especially as she’s a major inspiration for the fight for equality. RIP.

Franco was probably rejected because she was really only notable for being related to a family member, which they said in the rules they would reject.

While I don’t have anyone that is truly a “me” pick this year, next year there will be at least one “me” pick next year. One of the things I realize while slowly making my DDP team for next year that in order to truly make a “great team”, not only do you have to put some younger folk in there, but you also need to put some folk in there that you can truly relate to. So even in the off chance that I do much worse next year, I will still like my team much better than last time cause there’s something in there that I can truly relate to me...

Alright, I have decided not to wait any longer and PM'd maryport my 2018 Deathrace team. Barring a mass exit before the starting line, I think my team will do a decent job next year. Anyways, good luck to everyone else...
