With her family not being optimistic this time unlike before, anyone want to try a sweepstakes? With her condition she's currently in, it might be an actual useful sweepstake. But I want others to agree before we begin...

Isn't glioblastoma a vicious form of brain cancer anyways? You missed an important part of it though. He's saying that the treatment he is on is currently doing very well with him. So I could still see him make it to 2018, but 3 and a half months is a long time for someone with glioblastoma...

Claims his next album will be his last.

What are you on about? Stanley Kubrick is one of the most acclaimed and well remembered directors of all time. At least The Shining is very widely well known today, Dr Strangelove has a 99% on rotten tomatoes (my AP world teacher even showed us that after we took the AP exam), and A Clockwork Orange is very often considered one of the most controversial movies of all time. In short, Kubrick is very well known today even with these three movies plus 2001: A Space Odyssey (which probably is the most well known out of these 4, but that doesn't mean the others aren't well known). I should probably add Full Metal Jacket as well, but I feel that the three other than 2001 certainly cements his status as an important and well known director.

Really useless post here, mainly because he is not even 103 yet!

I suspect his death will be the end of my time in the lead in the hare's dead pool. But I still have my doubts on his DDP obitality. If he somehow gets one, that was a really good gamble by Sir Creep.

Nabeel Qureshi has revealed that doctors have given up on treating him. Tick tock, tick tock, tick tock...

Updated for Peter Sallis and Errol Christie. Just to think, if someone decided to choose Sallis as their choice for the MMMDP, they could've won actually. Right, so that's 11 dead. Apart from MC Ren, could anyone else be still living by the time this rolls around again next year? We'll see... The deaths of Glen Campbell and Yisreal Kristal has made drol and time 12th and 13th place respectively. I'm bringing this up because we're less than two months away from opening a new thread for essentially what I call the start of the major dead pooling season. Hopefully more people will be quicker off their feet this time so we don't have to slowly wait for the next person to post a pick.

What is the likelihood of her getting a UK obit?

Did you not see that he was ending all public appearances starting January 2018? I even posted in his thread...

They are certainly a tabloid. However, from what I can tell from, they're much more reliable than the likes of radar online or the national enquirer, where all they post is predictions that celebrities are going to die soon, which 95% of the time, are wrong.
-
The title of the article has her age wrong though. Sad...

This one I believe unlike the Bob Barker news from the national enquirer. Hit #11 coming this week...

Looking back at previous posts, it looks like the people who said Stefansson would definitely die before Meads were wrong. Shows you can never tell...

Political scientist Frank Aaerobrot is dead at 70. Another one for the list of the missed.

The only polls that really should be allowed are predicting the next deathlist hit and polls that aren't related to celebrities, like predicting the next school massacre and stuff like that. Otherwise, fuck off with the polls.
-
I think that's a fair change.

Yeah, he's part of that group that made country music absolutely terrible. It was at least decent back in the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Now it's just utter garbage. Sad...

Here it is. Same again for me.

Do people seriously still believe those 2 tabloids are telling the truth?
