I don't think this thread is necessary, or if it is, it should be moved to the extra curricular section.

Funny thing, I actually have heard of Gord Downie before his cancer diagnosis. I haven't heard of Clearly before joining the deathlist forums, and I do live in America.
-
So who are the ten biggest names on this list? My guess is this (imo): 1. David Bowie 2. Johnny Cash 3. Louis Armstrong 4. Lou Reed 5. Muddy Waters 6. Nina Simone 7. Albert King 8. Gregg Allman 9. Jack Bruce 10. Luciano Pavarotti
-
One must note JTrost haven't returned to complain about a 5th hit. Thank god, I hated their trolling.
-
Next big name after Allman probably. Won't be the next name though (someone obscure probably will be).
-
I suspect that he's not deathlisty.
-
That, and I got Lou Reed already.
-
Deathlist 2018 confirmed, if she makes it...
-
And I thought I was bad at making brand new threads that are useless (don't regret Allman though)...

I got to say, if I was old enough to vote, and there was a decent conservative candidate who was the nominee against Clinton (like, for example, John Kaisich), I probably would've voted for the conservative candidate, and that's coming from someone who has pretty liberal views. Trump is still much more of an asshole than Clinton though, and I definitely would've voted for Clinton at last years election.

You must've been thinking about the Advent Avalanche. That took ten days to have a winner, yet there were three who died before Christmas (Zsa Zsa and Pier Sellers were the other two)
-
I think I know who I'm going to pick (I will set an alarm for 2:50, then go back to bed after I pick him ).
-
It already has its own thread:

That, and he also got a brain tumor and was in critical condition last time we had an update for him.

Just so you know, Violet Brown will never make the list, as the oldest person in the world is not famous enough (yes they're famous, but not notable elsewhere ). Many of your picks are either too young or way too healthy. That said, I do think Manuel Noriega, David Attenborough, and Loretta Lynn should be on the 2018 list.
-
He doesn't seem to be the type of pick the committee would pick, but then again, they selected Robert Novak in 2009. Either way, he's a bad pick for now.

Joey Russ replied to Lord Fellatio Nelson's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
John Kennedy would've been 100 today. He probably wouldn't be alive today even if he hadn't been shot in Dallas on that awful day. -
On Wagner, I did say after 1950, so that's why I missed him. And Tony Bellamy died at 63, so I won't be adding him for obvious reasons.
-
January: John Hurt February: Bill Paxton March: Chuck Berry April: Don Rickles May: Gregg Allman (music is a very important part of my life)
-
I know for a fact Butch Trucks, Jack Ely, and Ian McLagan were already on the list. Let me double check if I've already gotten anyone else you've mentioned.

I think it'll be more like 2009, where all the certs die, but it won't happen till the later months. There were 6 certs in 2009, and while Llewellyn and Richards died early on, the others hanged on until around August and September. Plus, there is a thing called taking a turn for the worse, and I have a feeling Downie and Bracknell will take that turn in, say, July or August (which is why I regret not putting Bracknell on my DDP team ). But that's just my thoughts.

I'm liking their chances tbh.
