Something similar has happened to one of my grandparents. Haven’t seen each other in a long time, but never divorced so they are technically still married.

So the terminal cancer was announced on the 20th of August yet the press haven't picked up on the story? Hm...

Apparently Tommy Devito is in the hospital with COVID, and given his past health woes and age I suspect he’s not one for too long sadly...

The express is clearly the best source for these types of things isn’t it?
-
That may be true, but Spawn and the Blade franchise were much more cult films and such didn’t really reach a wider audience the same way Black Panther did.

I think if someone ever gets a 100% completion rate in a dead pool, it’ll be someone a bit flukey with their choices and not someone who puts in a ton of research tbh...

The Big Book of DeathList's Great mistakes

Eh, could care less about Musharraf. I believe the reason he even made the list this time was that he had a death sentence on him near the end of the year, only for those charges to be dropped around the new year. For Bouteflika, I think it depends on the amount of survivors remaining at the end of the year. I don’t necessarily think he’s a bad pick. -
I did better than expected.

He was beloved from folk of my generation, with many of them being utterly heartbroken by his death. If you remember Stefan Karl Stefansson’s death, he was also beloved by younger folk who was really sad when he died. Take the response of Stefansson and multiply it by 10, and that’s an indicator of how much more well known Boseman was. I suppose this comment on forum perfectly sums up why some people are more upset for certain deaths than others.
-
I imagine there was going to be a bit of a generational divide, but Boseman was absolutely massive on Twitter. I think he was getting close to the same amount of tweets, possibly even more, as John Lewis did when he died. I imagine most of the older folk aren’t super hero fans, so here’s another film with Boseman portraying James Brown to show how talented he was and why he had a bright future ahead of them had the cancer not killed him:
-
What a legend.
-
For those who don’t know, Boseman was a major star and definitely seemed like he had a bright future ahead of him. Truly is shocking. Also seems like that above meant more than I realized...

Makes me curious about other freedom riders that are still alive now, given that’s there freedom riders had gone inside 2 months. Well, here’s some of the remaining freedom riders that are still alive: Janet Braun-Reinetz (apparently still alive but no DOB) Amos Brown (1941 - ) Bob Filner (1942 - ) Bernard Lafayette (1940 - ) James Lawson (1928 - ) Diane Nash (1938 - ) Charles Person (1942 - ) Meryle Joy Reagon (1942 - ) Charles Sherrod (1937 - ) Carol Ruth Silver (1938 - ) Helen Singleton (1932 - ) Peter Sterling (1940 - ) Hank Thomas (1941 - ) Joan Trumpaer Muholland (1941 - ) James Zwerg (1939 - )

The first thread that came to mind to post his death. Freedom rider Bill Harbour is dead.
