Just the other day I was assessing the teams near the top early and this was pretty much the nightmare scenario. Genuinely surprised a QO came thru, given her lack of a wiki page and any English language press coverage (outside of a specialist magazine) of her illness.

This is actually pretty disappointing. Didn't think she'd get one in a million years and therefor left her on the bench. Will need to take more risks in the future, I guess.

Someone I've been watching for years now and abandoned everywhere but Alt Obits.

Ahem, Jethro Tull. They never even get nominated... of course, the hall's loathing of prog is well known. It took forever for them to include Rush, Yes, and Genesis and that will probably be it from the genre. Despite being massively successful in their time I don't see Jethro Tull or ELP ever being nominated and a highly influential band, like King Crimson, won't even be thought of as an option. Of course, punk influencers (New York Dolls) can get nominated because they consider punk to be a valid genre somehow despite it being, almost by definition, talentless and unmusical.

I see a rapper, a country/pop legend, a couple other pop acts, and a pile of mediocre/niche acts. I have no idea what Fela Kuti or A Tribe Called Quest are. I it were truly a rock hall, and not the colossal pile of shit it actually is, the only real choices, from this list, would be Pat Benatar, MC5, and possibly Judas Priest.

Found out about his pan can in late 2020. Had him rostered on one of my DSCDP teams all last year and just sort of gave up on him (other than Alt Obits) after he failed to keel over... which is something that I let happen way too often.

Damn, found stories last year about him having pan can but "catching it early". Decided to roll the dice on him in Alt Obits this year but ignored him everywhere else.
