Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2007
Monoclinic replied to football_fan's topic in DeathList extra-curricular
Indeed. At the low end of the scale, this is like the casualties from an event the size of the World Trade Centre tradegy happening in EVERY SINGLE US State. But, like Dave pointed out, it's probably more like 2,000 people being killed, in MULTIPLE cities, in EVERY US state. But, hey, it's not like these people are American right? If they were, then it'd be awful. To quote a great modern day thinker: "Shock and Awe" A website trying its best to keep the public informed on the true losses of this grizzly war. -

Meilleurs voeux pour ton 40ème anniversaire Madame Grendel! Have a fantastic day -
This is just to preserve SC's post before he edits it tomorrow when the effects of tomato juice and celery salt wear off.

Excuse my ignorance as I've never heard of him. Is he as English as Kevin Pietersen? Or just another ringer. "...but, for mine own part, it was Greek to me." -
Please don't cast nasturtiums on Morrisey.

For example and by fact: John F Kennedy was assassinated on November 22 1963. The stock market crashed on October 29 1929 The Berlin Wall was destroyed on October 3 1989 All have only one outcome. The modern thinkers focus on the positives of the loss, instead of the defeat and failure itself. The subject and concept of thinking along these terms could flame some quality conversations. A simple way for less sophisticated minds to understand my comment would be: A lone photograph hangs on a wall, but inside the frame is an image of one thousand faces. I hope you can make the comparison. Of course they all have one outcome. This is owing to the fact we are looking retrospectively at these events. They have happened. We know the outcome. It's not a "choose your own adventure" story. Situations that have yet to occur or are in the process of occurring however could have many possible outcomes. Or tell me, do you know what finally happens in Iraq or Darfur. Perhaps you already know who the next Dalai Lama is going to be even if the Buddhist movement (or China considering latest developments) currently doesn't. Perhaps you could tell me with all certainty who is going to win the next Grand National, then this time next year we will be millionaires Rodney you plonker. Modern thinkers focusing on the positives of the loss. Tell me, what are the positives of the deaths of around 6 million Jews, 1 million Rwandans or the ethnic cleansing that took place in the Balkans? I think dear philosopher you need to spend a little more time thinking before you philosophise your ideas to a wider audience.

Oh that'll be good, I'd like to see what all these Canadians look like that I've randomly picked. The pictures of mulleted men I can do without. I tried so hard to think of a celebrity femullet to even up the team but my knowledge of country singers is about as good as my knowledge of Canadians. Hope the beer went down well CP! Edit: If we are talking name changes - I just realised I forgot the O in front for O Can-I-Die? Seeing as it is a lame name anyway, change it only if you can be arsed. Thanks!

"Fit the best...Everest." That's my recollection - that and a feather floating down inside a room while a helicopter landed silently in the garden. Perhaps if the double glazing hadn't been so good, someone might have heard the gunshot and got to him in time... I thought Patrick Allen was in the helicopter. In fact if Barrett Homes had teamed up with Everest they could have done a crap nice dual ad. I still can't get over the feeling that double-glazing had something to do with Ted Moult's death. Perhaps he had just read a new script. A future of double-glazing advertising would be enough to send anyone running for the gun cabinet. Maybe the Barrett ads explain Patrick Allen's death. Allen and Moult could have been in the same self-help group. What? There isn't a Forgotten Celebrities in Advertising Anonymous? Well there should be. Who's going to help John Cleese, Prunella Scales, Rowen Atkinson and that smug pseudo intellectual, Stephen Fry? If only Jack Davenport would read from the same script as Moult. That, as they say, would be priceless. He's done ten too many voiceover's for my liking.

Narcissism's finest hour. The very act of looking at the stats increases the count. Hmm, I wonder how it could have gone that high? It has been noticed that the counts were unusually high amongst the people who had been in chat just after the forum was relaunched when coincidentally we were "stalking" each other in a schoolboy/girl fashion going ooooh look at this ad infinitum. I was wondering whether it was the number of profiles we had viewed (obviously clicking on the same profile more than once adding to the count too) rather than or as well as the number of times our own has been viewed.

Happy Birthday HCW! Hope you enjoyed the craps in Vegas. -
I much prefered your previous Avatar. At least then I could imagine taking a very large handful of Paxo and shoving it right up your a**e. Keep your hands off my Paxo!

I'd also like to refer you to LFN's post in your free associating thread... Don't worry, I know you were being sarcastic.

Perhaps you should also consider embracing the capital letter. I second this, it's very important. The capital letter is a must have) And if you don't have it) Then I guess you don't have much) Whereas the latest trend over the pond is to replace the full stop with an italicised parenthesis.

I didn't understand a word of that Try to read it aloud, replace every 'ou' with 'o' and things will clear up. English not being my native tongue either, I quite understand why a foreigner like our beloved Rocking Pavel has such severe difficulties with spelling. Still, I can't help wondering why such a virulent Castro-hater can't even spell his target's name properly. My bet would be that Pavel is not a legitimately frustrated victim of Castro's regime, but just some sort of retarded moron who loves trolling and spilling his email adress all around the web. I think her/his problem lies with this product... To Parvel I say, Viva GTX!
