, if it was all this good it might catch on more around the world.

Apologies re the spell the name right, what I was gettin' at is the fact it's a fairly open secret that he is one ROBERT BANKS, aka BANKSY. He doesn't openly admit to being Banksy, so nobody with a massive amount of cash to lose has yet put it officially althoughWikipedia and The Guardian, amongst others have as good as spelled it out.

Cheney's not in the best of health, are you sure he was holding her up?

Godot Yeah, I take yer point. I'm impressed with Alphonsin. Less a schoogirl crush - let's face it the Dr Death avatar is less than shaggable - and more appreciation of the combination of a thread of genuine argument in his posts and some substantial facts behind 'em. I'd liken it to Carlisle United signing former Premiershit striker Michael Bridges last season. I saw him punt home some exceptional goals, the twenty five yarder, placed to perfection away at Northampton, being the best. Once we'd established he really was that good the next conversations that broke out in the support were about how long he'd stay and how much he'd contribute. I'll declare myself inspired by the 'death science' of OoO, Rotten Ali and Alphonsin. I think they're adding summat we should seek to keep. -
Nice of you to drop in Ms K, could you help us any more. Any oxygen tanks sighted nearby, did he run half a mile to buy a sandwich. Did he stand on a chair and sing a song called: 'I Licked Cancer and Life's Just Fine.' I mean, all we've established is that he's alive and mobile, I think we knew that.

I'd go sooner rather than later Ali, given some of the global warming predictions it might be a walking holiday by 2026.

Can we give him due respect and spell his name properly at the head of this thread?

Things To Do While Waiting For Death... 2006

The gay policemen amuses me, since one of my best mates' gay partners is an ex-copper. Cumbrian gay police....now they've automated lighthouses I reckon that's about as lonely as a job can get. -

Cheers Alphonsin A recommendation from a man of your discernment is to be taken seriously. Incidentally, I'm lovin' 'Fingersmith,' a glorious pastiche of 19th century novel plotting and twenty first century sensibilities. -
Reet; I've shot my load in the direction of Canada. Game on!

Pepe Poupe I reckon, the miniscule lush last seen shaking her pint sized booty as the only female Ompa Lumpa in the 1971 adaptation of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Her career was over before Dickie O hit top form. I mean, if you peered over the hedge to Brinsworth House you might spot some of the others, but if she was behind a small shrub....

Here's a cracker, British graffiti artist Banksey remixed Paris Hilton's album and re-worked the cover before dropping 500 of his doctored CDs back into the shops. They've sold, there have been no complaints. Here's a video of him making it happen.

Notapotato That makes a great rumour, hope nobody else drops in on this thread and spots it is a rumour. I get the feeling Dr Hack is the real deal, i.e. has medical qualifications of some kind. So, the DL may be sick but we sure aren't thick.

Where Have All The Ranters Gone?

I keep getting this vision of a monkey with glasses. Beats me why. -
Is DDT really a Ph.D? Did he reveal such to us in a post I missed. I'm slowly headed in that direction myself. Next year - all being well - I'll have me second masters and become a MAMA!

Mind, it IS ironic that there's such lively debate on the Deathlist.
-
What did I tell ya? This death is attracting polite drive-by posts. I think, in his own understated way, Mr Hopkins is trying to get us on appreciating a nice man and off gloating over the death of a fat celeb.

Forget the last request. Canadian porn stars aplenty, as always you only need to ask wiki.
-
Interesting Canadian Paul, well interesting. Do you happen to know where online I could find the definitive guide to Canadian porn stars, it's not summat that's greatly troubled my life so far but it might be a useful bit of research this month. Incidentally, Lara Roxx is Canadian ain't she?

Doubt he'll do a John Smith on us, his health is too closely monitored and - more to the point - even if he makes it to number 10 he'll probably only last a couple of years before he's killed off - in a manner of speaking - by the electorate.

Slave to the Grave speaks the truth; God of Small Things stayed good to the very end. Tackling Sarah Waters Fingersmith now, much simpler but well told story. I'll keep you posted, first 83 pages are alright. -
Your housemates; do any of them worship at the altar of Karen and Richard Carpenter?

I.e's avatar is a certain Andy Fordham, one of the most naturally gifted darts players of his generation and a man who's major bulk is largely down to a capacity for lager that could see him drink a car load of us under the table. He's lately turned to white wine spritzers cos he's trying to lose weight. Despite the tonnage of bodyweight, he's unlikely to want to down a monkey.

Pardon my English ignorance OSP, is Mad Sunday the name given to one of the days in the Irish road racing calendar?

The King of Tonga was once listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world's heaviest recorded monarch. He tipped the scales back then at 462lbs, 33 stone. I.e. roughly Andy Fordham after he's swallowed Kylie Minogue whole. Thought he deserved an honourable mention here.
