I saw a name on that Wiki page that Id forgotten about, Labour MP John Stonehouse. He caused a By Election by being convicted of fraud. So, even with the strong rumours of him being in the pocket of the Czech secret service, being caught faking his death and, generally being of very dubious character, the Labour Party STILL didn't get shot of him until he was finally convicted. How times change.

That's an old and fairly well-known rumour. Bowie's first wife Angela said that there was nothing to it, they were just two lads sharing a bed, as it used to be normal decades ago, especially in somewhat impoverished post WWII-Britain. This wardrobe story is slightly different though. Nevertheless I see nothing to suggest that the two gentlemen involved were pleasuring each other. They were saying on the radio this morning that our perception of how the well run, managed and, generally, totally efficient German rail network is, is a bit bollocks.
