There is some truth in that. I used to get massively pissed on a Friday night, get up late Saturday afternoon and was back in the Pub Saturday night getting pissed and ( hopefully) laid. Why is it, even though I didnt get massively wankered on booze last night, does it still take me a whole fucking day to recover? My hangover is very slight ( Tablets and shit loads of water BEFORE i go to bed helps) and im functioning without pain BUT Im still fuggin lethargic and cant be arsed. I know that, at my age ( get in before you do Lardy ) my body is not what it was and i hardly ever drink but im 6ft1 and broad which should mean im able to soak up the booze better than Wee Jimmy Krankie, right? Fuck it.

The Leveson report clearly seeks to take a sledgehammer to it all which may well impact what we are entitled to be told. The point is, If it can be done to the press it can be done to individuals. The notion that free speech makes it ok and protects you legally is something i would rather not rely on thanks. I dont give a shit whether the law is accusing somebody of something,that somebody is innocent until they are proven guilty. Its one thing to accuse somebody of being a burglar its another thing to accuse somebody of being a turd burglar of underage children. Sorry, i just dont feel comfortable with that, Id rather that type of thing gets proved or disproved in court. Just to clarify the following: 1) Max Clifford has been charged following an allegation that he had non-consensual sex with an underage girl. 2) An established colloquial term for a person who has non-consensual sex with an underage girl is a 'Nonce'. Therefore, it is perfectly correct and reasonable to state that Max Clifford is an alleged nonce. There's no heresay involved at all, as its a matter of public record that he has been charged with an offence. I'm not calling him anything he isn't. The Jamie Bulger killer 'outers' were nearly jailed not for anything they said about the two men convicted of murder, but for breaching a condition set by the court that the two cannot be identified. Quite agree. That was one seriously good drama! Not sure if it was "better" than I Claudius, I think they were both brilliant in their own way. Jacobi was masterful but, probably, Hurt was the winner, fucking brilliant.
