I may be out of step here but isnt it just a little bit off to be gawping at the death throes of a young woman (under 30) who is clearly dying and terrified of doing so? A young girl who will leave her young Children to grow up without their mummy, and a Mother who will have to bury her own daughter. The Norman Wisdoms and Winehouses of Celebdom are there to be shot at, the aged and the self inflicted are fair game but this is one young girl, as thick and as hideous as she may be, who really doesnt deserve to have her corpse wanked over before she is cold in the ground. Its all rather sad.

Im disgusted that Clarkson apologised for calling Brown a one eyed Scottish idiot. Everybody knows that Brown is a f*****g idiot! Why apologise for telling the truth? PS: Carol Thatcher looks like a dude. I don't think it was quite so much the idiot part... more to do with his disability... Er, yeah, I did work that one out....

You are going to have to move Handy. Perhaps Yorkshire? Almost a dead cert for at least one snowfall per year.

How you personally feel is what is important - what others project upon you certainly isn't. There is no such animal as a "true" democracy - even the US is a republic, not a pure democracy. In any governmental system what elevates some people above others in a socio-economic sense is two things - power and money. The Kennedys, Roosevelts, Vanderbilts, Rockefellers - all are families that in the US currently or formerly wield far more power than the British monarchy has in ages. They have those two things - money and power. Speaking as an outsider, the monarchy is the finishing touch on what makes Britain, Britain. It is not all of what Britain is, and Britain certainly wouldn't cease to exist if the monarchy was abolished, but it is an asset in the world more than a detriment, I suspect. I would worry more about Rupert Murdoch and Warren Buffett, to be honest. There is a lot of truth in that post CA. What is curious is that there has actually been more movement towards the reinstatement of Monarchies than there has the dismantling of them. On the death of General Franco the first thing that the people wanted was the return from exile of the Monarchy. Evidently, the Spanish people had the choice and they chose reinstatement. I can only assume that it heralded a return to a true identity of the Spanish people. Perhaps this is why countries such as Georgia have discussed the merits. Clearly, there is much to gain from a Monarchy, possibly the two most fundamental things that define a race, Identity and stability. I think the British Monarchy is pitched about right. Its not an absolute Monarchy like Saudi Arabia and its not so low key, such as the Dutch, to actually make any kind of statement. As much as I detest the concept, it doesnt affect me day to day and, realistically, Im actually glad we have them. -

It is irrelevant whether you personally feel inferior to them or not: the concept inherent within a monarchy demands that you must have a sovereign and a subject, with the social and moral implications that must follow. What is the just source for their status and influence (no matter how slight you may feel it is) within the terms of a liberal democracy? As eloquently as you have put it, you miss the point. It may well be that we must have a Sovereign and a subject in order to have a Monarchy, the issue is whether we class ourselves as "subjects". I dont. Most of us dont. Its all a charade actually. A dynasty born into wealth and privilege kept there because it suits the people to do so. Staving of Republicanism, bringing in multiple millions of pounds a year in tourism, impartial ambassadors welcome in countries that welcome nobody else outside of their borders, the whole kit and caboodle. The Royal Family are here purely because we want them to be. There are no social implications, nothing would structurally alter our social system if Royalty was abolished, there would still be, and always will be a class system. Moral implications? Such as what? Their obscene wealth? Perhaps. Privileges? Quite possibly As I initially said, it really is down to individual interpretation. What does it mean to you? They dont mean anything to me. Its easy to look too deeply at the situation, I see where you are coming from but I just dont see me in that. I think you perceive who they are and what they are and their impact on our society, circa 2009 as far more important than it actually is. You raise some really good points but I disagree. Here is a case in point. You come from a Country that has had more social upheaval than most. Would a Royal Family have given greater stability? Does a Royalty free society guarantee social freedom, equality and cohesion? Who got it right? My Country or yours? Maybe neither has, I know Id rather live under this democracy, complete with inbreeds, than that one. -
He really is a total W**ker.

Lord Fellatio Nelson replied to BirdieNumNums's topic in DeathList Forum
For me it is not a question of money but of principle. The political system in this country implies that the royals (the bunch of inbreds) are inherently better than the rest of us. Their kids are better than yours. Fact. And this flies in the face of the principles of a liberal democracy. In a true democracy the people are the sovereign, not just subjects. I dont neccessarily think that thats the case. Any Political involvement that the Royals have is purely traditional. They have no real power or control to speak of. Any implication that they are better than the rest of us is purely down to an individuals interpretation of their place in our society. I think you will find that most of us share your distain for the Royal family, consequently, we dont see them as "better than us" at all. It doesnt mean that we want to send them to the Tower though. We have seen Republicanism at work and its no better than what we have had for hundreds of years. If it aint broke, dont fix it. -
I only joined the forum yesterday, so you can be assured I'm not a regular in disguise. It hadn't even occurred to me that you may already have ticked off a few people, but considering the bird poo you like to post, it comes as no surprise that youre hard to like. The size of your cock- that I can believe, because your brain has been oxygen deprived for too long, which I guess is your only valid defence for the initial post that prompted my reply. Yeah, blah, blah, blah. When you have been around here a little bit more than 5 mins, by all means be critical. I may well tick off prats like you but I kinda like doing that, bursting the Balloon of pomposity and all that. You are a real conundrum arent you. You prattle on about how Mandela stood for, and still is, standing for freedom yet you critisise me for daring to question whether he should get off of his arse to make a stand for those people in Zimbabwe who have anything but freedom. Your comparison of Africa with the likes of France, Greece etc is an absolute joke. How do you compare Democracy, albeit, imperfect democracy with tyranny? What is the difference between locking up Political Prisoners ( Mandela) with torturing and murdering politcal opponents and their families by Mugabes regime in Zimbabwe? What would be so difficult in having Mandela make a statement condeming what is happening with his next door neighbour? Why is South Africa and all those nations surrounding Zimbabwe having such difficulty in uttering the simple words "Enough is enough, stand down!" to Mr Tyrant? The answer is as simple and as distateful as its idiocy. Mugabe is still seen as a freedom fighter who battled and defeated the white man, a man who did much to remove those that came and took from the indigenous, to wit, he as seen as being on the same pedestal as Mandela himself. So as Mugabe, cheats, murders, subjugates and clings on to power anyway he can, the rest of Africa looks on. How do you criticize a hero? You made a point that "we" in the 1st world like to burn 100s of cars and showrooms down. Exactly what has that got to do with anything? Do you think that those who are arrested for such crimes ( usually anarchists who do not recognise democratically elected governments, Law and order, etc, etc anyway) disappear into secret cells where they are tortured, mutilated and then murdered? Bit like Zimbabwe? How does it sit with you knowing that your critique of the 1st World forms the backdrop to a collective of Democracies who contribute Billions of dollars of aid to that continent year on year, much of it going into the pockets of unelected rulers and precious little to their own people? Do you see it as some sort of payback for centuries old Western tyranny to Africa? When do we all stop paying? When do we stop saying sorry? When does Africa finally stand on its own two feet? Do I, a Tax payer appreciate my Government appropriating Billions of pound of aid knowing that I am working my tits off so that Swazilands King Mswatii the 3rd can buy a fleet of luxury vehicles to travel to his starving Aids riddled subjects? Yes things here are shite. Too many people murdered, the Economy in a state of collapse, too many issues to mention but how the hell do you compare that to whats happening in Zimbabwe and the silence of Africa as it watches. Inspite of all our problems, we have the one thing that cannot be removed from us, Democracy. I was born into it, I will die in a Democracy. Compare that to the millions of Zimbabweans who have been born into tyranny and will surely die in it. You are an absolute joke. I look forward to reading your other well informed and measured pearls of wisdom.

Wow, it must be a burden to carry such arrogance on your shoulders. Mandela is more than twice your own age, yet he is the one you expect to "get off his arse". Since you're so concerned with Zimbabwe and Africa, what has your contribution been, other than to criticise a man who fought and still stands for freedom and is a legend in his own right. South Africa and Africa has its problems, but so does France, Greece and the rest of the world. Except here in the 3rd world, we like to burn tyres and steal cars, not so much like the 1st world, where you burn 100's of cars and showrooms down. You speak of horrendous events in our country, but you only need to read the UK newspapers, to know things are really no better - it is just easier for people like yourself to pretend that violence, rape, child abuse only happens elsewhere. Maybe you should open your eyes to the mess in your own continent before you feel entitled to dispose your negative thoughts about Africa, particularly South Africa. Now, are you yet another one of the regulars hiding behind a new name and avatar to have a pop at me because you lack the bollocks to do it under your known one...or not? Hmmm. Either way f**k off as I cant be arsed to get into a debate with a cretin. PS: If you wrote that pile of shite within a 1000 miles of the African coast, my cocks 10 ft long PPS: You actually like to burn tyres when they are "wrapped around someones neck" Tut, tut, you dont even know your own cultural traditions........UK ones probably

Were you the cnut who was my old Woodwork Teacher? I still cant put a fooking shelf up. A lot of f*****g good you were!

People who toot their horns at you because they are useless w**nkers. For the 2nd time in two weeks ive had some flange filler bib their car horns inspite of the fact that THEY were driving like cock knockers. This morning: The snow has fallen, not up to your testicles deep but deep enough to cause chaos. Its my day off and Im taking Lady FN into work. I leave home and drive out onto the road that connects us to a main one. The snow is compacted, Im stuck behind a young bint and a passenger that looks like a half wit, probably a student (Winny excepted cause I like him) who is going that slowly my speedo needle isnt even registering. As I come up to a fork in the road prior to its end, I take one fork to go around her. Result? Beep, Beep!! Now the last time somebody did that I was prevented from getting out of my car by two sets of hands, Lady FN and my Daughter. This time I got out. I explained to them that the very reason that this country grinds to a f*****g halt everytime a centimetre of snow falls is dickwads like them who drive slower than a Herniated slug can move. "She is inexperienced!" says the half wit. "Well stay at f*****g home!!" I shout back. Does nobody understand the concept of braking through the gears and treating the footbrake as the final resort? Does nobody know how to steer into the back end of the car as it breaks away? Can no one understand the principles of minute steering wheel movements? Anticipation of whats ahead? No, obviously not. When I were a lad, we would treat the snow covered roads with respect and we would go to empty car parks, Industrial estates and sod around in our non power assisted steering, poor handling/braking tin boxes with shite heaters learning to drift our cars round corners, avoiding crashing and mastering the poor weather so we had total confidence that we could get around without killing ourselves or others. Yes be cautious but, for f**ks sake, this isnt exactly Canada or the East Coast of the USA in the depths of winter. The snow is manageable, it would be A1 if they had bothered to grit, which i dont think they have and we had ploughs running 24/7 along the main routes. Yes, we cant cope. Everytime it happens we grind to a halt BUT we as people have to take responsibility as well. Too many people cant drive in it, too many dont want to walk in it and too many throw the towel in. We have no backbone, I say, we have no fooking backbone!

I see, another poor destitute student having to email their Financial Advisor because they are down to their last few grand. As Deadly Doug said "Fuggin Students!"

You are right, they wont achieve anything but by christ they are doing SOMETHING. Here we all are, up sh*t creek being told by Captain Haddock that he, and he alone, can get us all out of the crap. Quite amazing really as he spent eight years in total control of the Countrys finances/Economy, liased with his counterparts around the World in seminars, meetings and jollies, had his finger on the pulse of world Economics and yet he didnt see fook all coming. Would YOU have the twat up your Crows nest? Nah, me neither. Hey, at least, as he stated, we have a robust economy....... Meanwhile the British stiff upper lip remains stiff and we make him believe that we still love him. Oh to be a bit more, er... French Yes, but they strike for any God damn reason and haven't learnt that all this demonstrating amounts to nothing. Surely that alone demonstrates a lack of cerebral matter. In fact, they'd have more money if they spent less time striking! I have a strong urge to go up to one of them and say lizten veary carefoolly I shall say zhis only once, it's not mai 68 get back to work you clé de bitte! I'm sure some of the students are loving it, a chance to be raucous without really knowing what they're being raucous about. The rest, well those poor souls are most likely to be found on the slopes. Aujourd'hui comme il faisait beau... How can I possibly counter that truth! Its all rather perverse. The French strike too much and we demonstrate too little. It would just be nice if the masses here had a one day demo just to let Captain Haddock and all the other minge faces in a position of lording it up over the rest of us know that the game is up. It would be like Southampton supporters congregating outside the ground shouting " Rupert, you twat, fook off!!" Oh they have already done that. Worked a treat........... Actually Mono, I see your agument far more clearly now!

Oh that would have been fan bloody tastic!! Just imagine it, a Euro summit with all the European heads of State, the President of the USA and anybody else who wanted to attend. All having a cup of Tea and a Hash cake. All the Worlds problems would just...fade away man

I thought American's sued their own mothers every second Wednesday? Its not about friendship or loyalty. It's about making a bit of cash. That is utterly cynical of you Winny. Perfectly correct too.

Day off today so I tuned into The Big Match Revisited on ITV4. Corking stuff! It was week ending the 29/1/1979, pitches were covered in snow, orange footballs, stupidly short shorts, leg breaking tackles ( no bookings) no dissent and proper commentators such as the legends Brian Moore and Hugh Johns. I had the pleasure of seeing Ralph Coates running down the flanks, his combover like a sleek aerofoil keeping him firmly on the ground, Paul Mariner with his bouffant and Mick Mills (who was obviously Ron Greenwoods love child as he was integral in giving an average player such a long England career) being, er, Mick Mills. If you happen to have a day off, are a student or a lazy f****r, try and catch The Big Match Revisited. See how things have moved on.

This is weasley by the Mail, give the girl a break. She's done nothing wrong, has looked great in just about every picture ever printed of her, and she was having a bad (skin) day. So they have to print ultra close ups two days after she broke up with her boyfriend. She's not appearing in a public capacity. How are pictures of her news? You are a right soft old bugger CR. I bet you've never strangled a kitten either! Lets face it, why would a Royal male want to be saddled with a girl that looks like a Tracy from Essex. Generally, they marry Horse faced bints.
